I have three.

Episode 25: where Oscar wears a dress and andre exclaims "What! Oscar wearing a dress!" - i just find this scene so very funny, it makes me laugh every time!

Episode 32: where Oscar begs Fersen to save "my Andre"

And the final episode: this one made me cry heaps!

haha, sry may have spoke to much but i just loved this forums topic!

I adored the scene of 8th ep, when Oscar stood up for Andre, also I like the 28th ep's end, when Andre confesses his feelings...its so dramatic moment."For twenty years you were the only one that I saw and thought about." But I hate the Oscars confession to Fersen in the first part of this episode, for me it was one of the weakest scenes in this anime.

There are more than I can count. It's a good thing we're not going by manga, also!

André's line, "A rose is a rose. It can never become a lilac." It says a lot about him, a lot about Oscar, and a lot about what he feels for her. I know, I know, the scene that comes at that part is absolutely terrible, and André, understandably, is angry and ashamed of himself afterward, but he really does want her to know she is a woman, and that's all he can see her as.

André's line in the episode where he carries Oscar home from the bar when they get into a fight. (The scene in the manga is twice as good-- he kisses her-- but for the anime, his line is great.) "It's a good thing they didn't find out that you were a woman. But Oscar... It doesn't matter what uniform you wear. I can still tell." I find it to be very sweet and very meaningful.

André's line in Episode 8: "Someday, Oscar, I'll give my life for you!" is the basic thing he thinks. And in the manga, this line comes back to him at another time. This marks a very, very important place in André's life, and this is almost like the no-turning-back point for him. He's fallen for her far too much to ever go back.

In the same scene, I loved Oscar's laugh. She has such a beautiful laugh; I can't help but look forward to hearing it.

Oscar had so many great lines... When André dies, and she calls out his name. "Andre! Are you leaving me behind?! André!" The last bit there? Wow. Her voice actor was amazing to be able to put forth that much emotion. If anything should make you cry, that definitely should.

Ah, "My André" was another good one. Cheesy or no, this was France 1789...they were allowed to be cheesy. Hah. But I think it might translate to something almost like, "My dear André" in the manga. That is, if I remember correctly.

I loved Fersen's line to Oscar, about there only being a love of agony. That was good. The saddest part is, they both love someone they can't have. Though obviously, Fersen's love for Antoinette is like André's love for Oscar-- unfailing, unfaltering, and completely true. Oscar doesn't love Fersen as much as she thinks she does. But Fersen understands in a sense. What he fails to realize is, at least Antoinette likes him back, haha.

Ah, Rosalie trying to get Oscar to buy her for one night. Poor Rosalie! That was funny, but I wasn't going to laugh until Oscar did! I'll bet Rosalie's words brought her back to Madame DuBarry. I think that scene was important because it marked a small turning point for Oscar, whether or not she initially realized it. That is when she begins to see France for what it is. The common people, so poor they have nothing and are being given no choice but to resort to desperate means.

Jeanne's line about always wanting to play a trick on someone (of epic proportions)? Priceless. So very childish, but priceless.

I loved Nicolas and Jeanne, right before they died. "You were the best woman." "Oh, really?" My heart almost broke for them, there. (And it would have if Nicolas hadn't tried to strangle Oscar, and Jeanne hadn't accused Oscar of being lovers with the queen (among a lot of other people).

Oscar's line, "Can you still love someone like me?" talking to André. Ah, but of course, Oscar! How could she even doubt that for a second? He's loved you more than 20 years; he's not about to stop now.

Oh! Another great line of André's is when Oscar is riding around on her horse, so very frustrated and hurt, and André thinks to himself that it's impossible to run. "Oscar, if you could run (talking about her problems/love), I would have run from you a long time ago."

"So, what are you going to do with me now, André?" Good line, because you never see her so scared in the entire anime. You can tell that that is definitely one of her biggest fears. Perhaps the very biggest.

"Please, let me go first. If I go second, I'll have to see my love suffer...and I cannot bear to see that." Oh, André... You got your wish...

There are so many more! I could compile a book with all of the great dialogue in this. I think one of my absolute favorite lines is in the 40th episode, where Rosalie has that paper rose, and tearfully admits she has no idea what Oscar's favorite color of rose is. (And of course, afterward, where Alain tells him that André would have said white.) That was...just beautiful, I thought.

It has got to be when Oscar said "watashi no Andre". This is the most memorable line for me.
