Being an internet addict, I adore both.

I've had a desktop all my life until the very end of this July. Now I'm on my laptop and loving Windows 7. :3

Both have advantages and disadvantages, though.

'Computer' should be 'Desktop', because a laptop is also a computer.

Desktops are much more powerful, but they aren't portable.

Laptops on the other hand can still have a decent i7 processor, which is pretty much covers most games anyways, however the graphics cards are usually not as good. Still, though, the games that aren't system hogs like CoD or Portal will run seamlessly on a laptop with perfect graphics assuming you don't have a REALLY terrible graphics card or integrated graphics.

The portability in laptops, though, are very useful, and you can nowadays connect them to a bigger monitor for gaming anyways, so I'd go with a laptop if I could only have one of them.

I've had a computer, but it was really weak... And it broke down... And I lost my files...

Now I have a laptop and it works a lot better
