It is a pretty cool game. It is rated M so make sure when you enter the website you put your age as 17 or +. The download takes a few hours to download but it is a pretty sweet game and you should try it out if your looking for a new MMORPG.

Well the beta is free to download but I am not sure if it will be free when the actual game will come out. I am sure the OB will last for a while.

Sorry for the bump.
The game is free yes, but i don't think it's cool at all. The only unique feature it has is it's excessive bloodliness. The game in itself has almost nothing to offer. And beginniers might spend like 1 hour just to find npcs around the first town... It's not newbies friendly at all.

I think it is kinda newbie friendly, and a rather good game overall. I really like the Nightmare creature feature aswell, late at night(game time) elite uber monster spawn  they're kinda nice and drops nice items. |

this game has been around for quite a while, i thought the beta would be over by now.
I supose Ragnarok takes so much of Gravity's time they havent even done anything with Requiem yet...
Also as for unique stuff in Requiem, i believe there was some kind of genetic change thing that let you change form/stat....
Havent really played since the early times of the game tho...

I've tried it out. Personally, it gets boring. Same deal over and over again. The only thing that excited me in the beginning; as you all have said before, is the blood action. Other than that; the storyline isn't decent, the community revolves around guilds, and well, the skill system is boring and doesn't make me happy. :[ Sad face.

I'm only playing the free older version...Memento Mori I think it was called. It's ok of a game. Not the most exciting, but its a good time-killer. The blood and gore is an awesome feature, plus when I first experienced the nightmare realm, i've noticed that they used a song from Silent Hill, which was also pretty awesome. The monsters too are cool and silent hill like. The gameplay though.....veery similar to the Shaiya mmo game's gameplay (yep, i've played shaiya too a while back). |

i played the game long ago so i don't really know whats new about it,from the time i played i found it rather tedious, it takes forever to lvl up, yeah you can say an mmo is meant to be that way but i found this game waaay tiring than any other
