18 years old MegaCon at Orlando, Florida. It was pretty enjoyful watching the cosplayers and getting autographs from voice actors and comic book artists. I just didn't have enough money to buy figurines or wall scrolls.

Anime USA, which was just a couple of months ago. I enjoyed it very much, but I wish I could've stayed in a hotel. I had to travel back and forth to get there.

My first was Comic-con in San Diego 2009. I was 53 at the time. My son-in-law and I will be attending our first A-kon in Dallas this year. Looking forward to it.

Went last year when I turned 15 with my two friends. I was the blue Pikmin and they were the red and yellow pikmin. It was at Cos & Effect and it was awesome!
Except for this one time I hugged this dude that dressed as Jesus and he picked me up
But other than that I spent approximately $90 on stuff lol.

I was 16 when I went to my first con, JACON 2001! It was like nothing I'd ever been to, the only 'convention' of any type I'd ever seen was a local sci-fi con I attended when I was 13 and 14. I clearly remember my first real interaction with the con was to stick my head in Main Events while my mom was buying our passes (they didn't badge-check as strictly back then XD), and I watched my first AMV... I'm pretty sure it was a Final Fantasy video set to Offspring's Staring At The Sun.
It must've made an impression on me, because all these many years later, I'm an AMV editor, artist, cosplayer, panelist, guest, event director, and starting my own anime convention. ^^
