My first anime convention was Animation On Display in San Francisco. I was 18 at the time.
It's a relatively small convention, but I'm new to these things, so I thought I'd start at a smaller, cheaper convention to get my feet wet before transitioning into the big name cons.
And meeting voice actress Cristina Vee was awesome!

My first convention was Anime Expo 2005, I was 22 at the time. I was a n00b at the time and didn't really know much about cons at the time so I basically spent all my time in Exhibit Hall thinking that was it...wow, how wrong I was. But we all start somewhere...since then, my con going resume has grown quite nicely ^_^
