Is it okay with you if a local channel in your country airs your favorite asian drama?

NO i hate filipino dubbers they will just ruined yamapi voice if ever after hana kimi japan it is a totally trauma 4 me to watch drama on tv many cuts and d dubbers sucks just my oppinion hahahahhaah i want to watch drama but i want to hear their own voice hahahahahaha

hahaha!!! agree with you guys so much!!! hate it when filipinos dub....

mine would definitely be a no, because i like how we, as netizens, are like this exclusive group of people who like dramas, and you know, we're different from the rest of the filipino community who dedicatedly watch soap operas every night and every time you're in school, you always hear your classmates talk about how good-looking this guy is, how exciting last night's episode was, blah, blah, blah...

it ruins the exclusiveness of dramas, you know? and the fan base of the actors may get bigger, but they get typecast, and people will treat them like stereotypical asian actors like F4...

so for me, NO WAY... besides, they totally ruined hana kimi and hana yori dango when it aired here...

as long that the it wouldn't keep me bored to death it is fine

like if the translation would be super corny or what, so never mind. but what i don;t really like here in our pinoy dubbing thing is that we changed the names. i sometimes do get confused when they do it.

hell yeah. i mean, if ever there would be a channel for taiwanese, japanese and korean dramas exclusively, i'll even donate money to the network whether they like it or not. ahaha. can't there be a crunchyroll channel exclusively in the philippines. haha. Mars, meteor garden, nobuta wo produce, hana yori dango, hana kimi, devil beside you, iswak, iswak 2 everyday again ... that will make me happy. haha.

i think its not ok..

because filipinos are over reacting!

im kinda ashame to see my fellow filipinos to be soo..

uhmm.. getting crazy about it..

and i hate it when they air an asian drama,

they use filipino language instead..

i mean why not just air it with the real voices of the actors and actresses acting on it

and just make the subs?..

o.. its soo embarassing!!

not all filipinos can understand english subs...

and worst...not all pinoys can actually read even a tagalog word.. < if ur thingking to do the subs in tagalog>

but they can understand tagalog..

thats why they do the dub...

try to remember what jose rizal's words....

the translation do suffer a bit when foreign novelas are translated into the local language so I believe it's better to have it subtitled

NO! A definite No! because I hate Filipino Dubbers.... especially a SPECIFIC NETWORK that cuts too much scenes! That network is very poor and cheap already! having too much commercials and just like... 12 minutes of korean/japanese show then commercials again.... tsk...

I'm fine with it, but I dont like the way they dub it. But I'm not fine with it when they do a remake of my favorite
asian dramas. Like in the philippines they're making a My Girl Filipino version. They'r going to ruin a perfectly good
drama!
