i want answer yes,but i think its a NO.
coz the dubbing is so poor.its doesnt even match the original voice.sometimes the voice expression is not the same also.
i rather buy the dvd's.the subs is good.good vid quality,no cut scenes.
so,its a NO.

and i hate it when they air an asian drama,

they use filipino language instead..

i mean why not just air it with the real voices of the actors and actresses acting on it

and just make the subs?..

I really don't mind as long as they do not cut too many and beautiful scenes and they won't murder the series by hiring some inappropriate dubbers. I don't mind having a fellow Filipino building a shine for their idols, it's their way of showing their love! haha..

For me its a yes and no.

Yes
coz i really want Filipinos to appreciate good dramas from Japan (or Korea or Taiwan) Only 3 (out of 50 my classmates) love JDrama like i do. It's really boring... Sometimes I just talk to myself about Jdramas. I also want my parents to try watching it so they wont scold me for staying in front of the computer for hours!

No
coz when Filipinos get addicted, they get TOO addicted. It's like they want to build a shrine or something for their idols. I do not want more wild fan girls obsessing over my japanese hotties.

I can't decide!! Yes or no? Let me know what you think (^_^)

~i really agree with you

-sometimes i d0n't want to share the jdramas because s0me girls just go GAGA ~kyaa kyaa kyaa~ over the 'japanese hotties'
i just want them to get something out of those good jdramas like a lesson for life, i also got bored watching SOME~ fildramas coz a student like me can't relate, fildramas i think, since decades ago up to now just have the same plot(sorry for that)

I also hate the dubbers! Is it that hard to find good dubbers?! And A CERTAIN NETWORK cuts a LOT of scenes!

Mostly NO.... Because the dub is terrible!!! They might not butcher it with a remake but they massacre it with the way they dub it... It's so irritating.. Another thing.. they overflow it with commercials!!
And Yes.. I don't like girls over obsessing over hot Asian guys.. Like what they did with F4? and now Fahrenheit?! I wouldn't want that happening again over my favorite hotties... haha...

not all filipinos can understand english subs...

and worst...not all pinoys can actually read even a tagalog word.. < if ur thingking to do the subs in tagalog>

but they can understand tagalog..

thats why they do the dub...

try to remember what jose rizal's words....
"""ang di nagmahal sa sariling wika..daig pa ang mabaho at malansang isda""""

shOxx!

thanks for reminding me..

but thats not what im really trying to say..

i just think that its as if they are treating us like idiots who cannot read or understand our own language..

and uhmm..

some of the dubbing really sucks..(not all)

remember stairway to heaven??

every time i hear the dub,

it makes me feel irritated..

and also i dont like the fact that some filipino got fooled

because they did really think that it was the real voice of their favorite asian actors/actresses..

actually im one of them..

back when i was only gr.4..

i really thought that it was their real voice.. T_T

however, sice my mom is a filipino and is watching TFC...( my knowledge of tagalog is just limited )
might be worth while...
on the 2nd tot, ...
can't they come up with an original piece instead
of remaking, or dubbing my fave dramas...#
