eventhough Hibari is the strongest, he also has a weakness.. and somehow I think Yamamoto is the only Guardian who can make something impossible become possible... Go yamamoto.. but I like Hibari too.. He is so cool.. ^^a..

I really want to give it to Yamamoto, but I can't because Hibari would win, but from not much.

Hibari did destroy Yamamoto in the early episodes. Considering that Yamamoto is a Rain Guardian so as to 'wash all away' and Hibari is mist which is to 'act independently and protect the family.' I would say that Yamamoto would lose as if it were a battle between him (10 years past self) and Hibari (10 years in the future) since Hibari-san has more control over his ring(s) and his boxes. While Yamamoto is only still handling his boxes (still has one that he doesn't know how to open) and he does have the Vongola ring. Though, Hibari has far greater strength and discipline.
Now, if it were 10 years in the past, where Hibari and Yamamoto at their best and a fairly neutral ground zone, I would say Hibari is much faster (which is one of Yamamoto's strengths to battle, but compared to Hibari is nothing) and Hibari's strength. Also, I know the swordfighting style of Yamamoto's is developing and ever changing, it is still somewhat restricting compared to Hibari's free flow movement. Now if they were both 10 years in the future, Yamamoto doesn't have the ring neither does Hibari, so Yamamoto's greastest asset is gone, while Hibari never depended on the ring and made his own. Yamamoto might know how to open the other box which we don't know what it is, but it is said Hibari is the strongest Guardian. In conclusion: Hibari>>>>>>Yamamoto |

In conclusion: Hibari>>>>>>Yamamoto Hmmm What if yamamoto used his Shigure Souen Style on hibari? Hibari would still pwn Yamamoto. Hibari also thinks things through very thoroughly. Not to mention he could use his steel tonfas to break Yamamoto's sword. Hibari would quicky find an efficient way to defeat the Shigure Souen Style. |

In conclusion: Hibari>>>>>>Yamamoto ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** There's a probleme with your first statement about the fight against Yamamoto from ten year in the past and Hibari from ten years in the futur, because Yamamoto develop's a new technicle in wich he use's the power of is vongola ring, the box's and the Shigure Kintoki, to make Shigure Souen new tenth form Scontro di Rodine, with was able to totaly destroy Reborn's hat. |
