True! That's a pure guess. His existence has something to do with the Hyou clan. There's also a possibility tha he's exchanging something in return just to keep him alive - like in the case of EIgetsu & Yougetsu. And if he IS one of the enligtened ones, I'm sure he can fall in love with Shurei. I mean, you saw some of the enlightened ones such as Sa Enjun (from SaiMono 1) married to that Hyou old woman. I don't think being an enlightened one doesn't allow you to fall in love. But I think being the Rose Princess might. Since the Hyou clan wants Shurei--- that may mean that she's the Rose Princess or the power of the real Rose Princess (Shurei's mother) is transfered to her. Quite a theory, huh? |
