Alright, so I'm stealing this thread idea from another forum, but I thought it might breathe some new life into this group, at least for a day or two.

What's the worst movie you've ever had the misfortune of seeing in the theaters?

I'll start with mine:

Back in '93, I went to see a really terrible spoof movie called Fatal Instinct, starring Armand Assante, Sherilyn Fenn, and Sean Young, among others. If you couldn't tell by the title (Fatal Attraction + Basic Instinct), it's meant to be a spoof of erotic thrillers, and let me tell you, it was really really bad. Not funny in the least, and probably on par with the likes of Meet the Spartans or Epic Movie, though to be fair, I haven't actually seen either of those.

If I had gone to watch this alone, I would have walked out after about twenty minutes. I regret staying.

Never ever watch this movie. Ever.

Are you kidding?!! There's like...A lot!

Recently this year, I watched:

DRAGON WARS: It was a painful experience. Half the movie is in Korean and the other half does not make sense at all! I would have walked out but my drowsiness got the better of me!

The Hottie and the Nottie: It has Paris Hilton (and her disturbing orgasm and flower proverbs)

Norbit: Eddie Murphy should either remain as Donkey (of Shrek) or just drop dead.

Titanic!! I saw it when I was soo young. Water plus darkness just making me sick to my stomach. I made such a big mess in the theater, I think my family and I never came back to that theater again. To this date I still haven't watch this movie again and probably never will.

To Essaywhuman: I think you just went to see that movie thinking there might some naked boobies or lotsa flesh scene . You we're like in your early 20s back then? That's the raging horniness stage

To c0rin: Lmao your a funny girl. Poor Eddy, Drop Dead!!! He made a mistake on Norbit but majority of his movies are pretty good. Like Beverly Hills Cop and umm hmmm I can't think of anything else besides Shrek. ooh ohh Pluto Nash!!! Ok I agree with you

Whoa, whoa. I'm old, but I ain't THAT old. I was like 14!

Having said that, though, you're probably right. 14 is that tender age when... well, nevermind.

Nah, I don't actually remember why we went to see it. I was young, impressionable, stupid, uncultured, short, sexy, and black. Well, not all of those things, but you get the idea.

To give you an idea of how bad the movie is, just check out the trailer. You know a movie's gonna be terrible when the trailer bores you to tears:

Okay, I dunno about Dragon Wars, but good god, The Hottie and the Nottie? Wasn't that only playing in like 12 theaters nationwide? I could have told you that was gonna be bad! And same with Norbit. Eddie Murphy went crazy sometime around Bowfinger and Dr. Doolittle, and I don't think he's gotten his sanity back yet. That man is working for a paycheck and nothing more, these days. Very sad...

Semi-Pro; First time I've ever walked out on a movie. It was terrible, especially since I don't like Will Ferrel in the first place.

10.000 BC; argh I don't know. I didn't like it the story kinda fell apart and it all felt like a ripoff of Mel Gibson's Apocalypto (which is a great movie).
