somehow i just couldn't wrap my head around gintoki and kagura ending up together romantically. it has a "koi kaze" effect on me. i see them more as having an older brother and younger sister type of relationship. their interaction, their mannerism, even their endearments are more sibling like in both the manga and the anime.
as for sa-chan, much as i like her antics sometimes she just gets way too overboard to be taken seriously by gintoki. i'm going out on a limb to say that it's an unrequited love. loyal and undying, pehaps, but still unrequited.
tsukuyo might have a chance with gin. that was the first time I've read in the manga that he said, "don't touch that woman or don't lay a finger on her ever again" or something like that, in defense of a woman. although i don't like her that much and she's not really a regular character, appearing only twice in two different arcs.
as for kyuubei, really that would be a crack pairing in a fanfic.
and besides she seemed more preoccupied being with Otae than having an interest in men. Hehe.
and this leaves otae. for some reason, there seems to be a possibility that she can be gintoki's pair. sorachi-sensei has revealed himself as a wacko, obstinate yet underneath-it-all-a-ginxtae shipper, the chapter and episode about the whinery store showed it all. alright, in the end it wasn't really them but he did buildup quite an illusion. so he must be thinking of such a possibility. either that or he just want to mess with our minds. yes, he's bat-shit crazy like that.
as for me, i'd like gintoki and otae to be together.
