I am in a band currently no name yet... my old band was Homicidal Slut Puppy but 2 people left and so its only Me, Hikari, and Zeeke. Eh.... so if any one can give me some suggestions that would be cool. But yeah look for us on the east coast for now... We used to play at Haiyako Hibatchi in Richmond till they moved... Eh... sigh.... but yeah. We are an all around band and we sing in Mandarin, Japanese, Taiwanese, and English. We dont really have a genre because i write just about evey kind of song imaginable EXCEPT FOR rap and country. Not that there is anything wrong with it but i just dont write that type of music is all.

I used to be in a band called Yami no Hikari. I played the electric guitar. But We had to quit. Our studies for exams...-_- We sand korean and japanese songs. To some schools. But were to young to travel! ometimes I had to sing. There was me *kari*, Akio, Keiji, Mokoto, Yoshi. It's all boys except me. We started the band when we were 11. We were not really pros, we were medium. Sometimes I write lyrics, but it's mostly Keiji who writes it. *sigh* The band broke up when we were age 13. Mokoto Went to Kyoto, Akio went to Yamaguchi. We were all seperated exept for me and Keiji.

I was in a band two years ago and it lasted roughly a year. We formed Crane (a mish-mash of punk, ska, rock, reggae, and garage) for three main reasons, and disbanded for same reasons.

Crane was seen as a way to get out of doing homework, get girls and some money, but it got us in trouble for not doing homework, getting too much girl troubles, and having no money. Every time we needed to write a song I always ended up as the one to do the job. I hated it, especially when they sod off to have fun with girls, leaving me alone with a heavy black cloud over my head.

We disbanded for another - and possibly, the biggest - reason: a painful realisation we weren't what we wanted to be. In our heads we were like gods of anarchy and rebellion, but in reality? Well, if you have a grandmother telling you that your music sounds "very pretty ... quite melodic", you know you're fucked. Plus, I got the blame for that.

Me and a couple of my friends tried to start a band a while back. It never really worked out though because 2 out of the 4 girls were angsty bitches who freaked out over every little thing. Drama Queens + Band = Imposible to work with/ Living hell.

I was a drummer in a band a while ago. It didn't work out quite well when everyone had their own schedules to follow and when we met to practise some stuffs, we'd end up clashing with each other's personalities. The adage "practise makes perfect" rings in my mind, but no amount of practise could help a newbie on guitar who has an absolutely beautiful voice, a completely arrogant sod on bass, and an impatient drummer get along. We had a time of it, me watching the other two bicker, until finally we realised that we're not meant to be in a band together.

I'd like to give starting a band another shot, though I would probably be more picky about who I work with [unless they were absolutely _wicked_ at playing guitar or vocals.] But now I'm dedicating my time to learning how to play the guitar so I might have more knowledge of how it works. Yay for calluses on my fingers!

During high school I was in a band called Cassava en Millenia.
When I'm home during breaks I usually play as a guest bass in various local bands.
I've played electric bass since I was 10.

I've been in a few bands. Iconoclast from Omaha and Legacy of Steel from Omaha. Now in two Iowa City bands (Ophelia Ethereal and one unnamed band with much more material).

I play 6-stringed bass. I am arrogant about it. And rightfully so.
