Aichan got an interview from Famitsu about High-King and herself

translation

- A unit called High-king has come into existence. What kind of group is it going to be?
Takahashi: I think a cool group. At first I was surprised by the member line up and thought that H!P egg Maeda Yuuka-chan is still only a child, but she's good at dancing and is very reliable. The song itself is cool too, so we want to aim for that direction.

- Furthermore this single is the promotion song for the musical "Cinderella the Musical" where Morning Musume and Takaradzuka Revue will collaborate on. Takahashi-san, you're known for liking Takaradzuka.

Takahashi: Yes. A while ago we had the opportunity to work together with them in the musical "Ribon no Kishi" too. This time, more Takaradzuka members will take part, therefore I think we'll be able to offer an even more gorgeous show.

- It's irresistible for you as a Takaradzuka fan?
Takahashi: You're right. (lol) It's just that Takaradzuka has already performed "Cinderella" once, so one will be able to clearly compare the two versions. That's why I'm all fired up as well.

- How do you feel about working together with the people you admire?
Takahashi: It's a strange feeling. I mean Asaji Saki-san and Aika Mire-san I will be working with are TOP STARS! I've been to many of their musicals as a part of the audience. And now I'm going to work together with them.. It's a really strange feeling.

- By the way.. We've heard that Takahashi-san likes games too.
Takahashi: I love games! I especially like the "Final Fantasy" series and played the games a lot. Everyone in my family likes games, maybe that's why.

- Do you remember which part of "FF" you played first?
Takahashi: "FF VII". I was still a child in the era of the Super Nintendo, so they wouldn't let me play saying "The save point would get lost!". (lol) But since the Playstation came out, you could save on memory cards and I could finally start playing from "VII" on. (lol)

- I see. (lol) Then your parents seriously like games, huh!?
Takahashi: Yeah, my dad even used to play while sacrificing his sleep for it. (lol) But lately they seem to be too difficult for him when he gets into the second half, so he watches from the back when I'm playing. But he's really noisy saying things like "Not that way!". (lol)

- By the way, which part of the "FF" series do you like the most?
Takahashi: "X". I played a lot of blitzball and I liked Tidus too. (lol)

A very interesting post about wotas and the idols they love:

http://aiwish472.wordpress.com/2008/06/13/feeling-sorry/

For me I can admit that I was very anti Berryz and C-ute just because they were so young. Of course that doesn't affect the music but still I would love to see more woman on my teve when I'm watching a concert....
Plus I was very disturbed that Mittsi did "Egao Yes Nude" when she was just 14.

woah that blog was almost like the other one that stirred me up a while back..i have to say..the quality of their songs have went down..probably coz the voice quality of new members have went down as well..they target looks rather than actual talent nowadays..i guess they think it sells more..well it does..for wotas..damn them..
i think im not in the level where in i would buy a mag coz they have some shots of skirts flying..especially when there are kids involved(what has become of teenagers nowadays )i think its safe to say that im not a wota.. ..im juz a normal fan..
i wonder..if i go to japan and say out loud in public that im a fan of morning musume..would people profile me as a wota..i think this idol-wota thing has been going on for a long time now that fans now have a stereotypical image..an image i would not be happy to have..ive seen fans line up for their concerts..and man..i might say..they do have that typical wota-look..juz what is the typical wota-look you might ask...
well ill juz keep that to myself for now..

Hahaha, it is very true what U say monkey. The first thing people associate with MM is "wotas"

I wonder how Tsun-san feels today, when he started MM he had a vision a vision of bringing happy music to people. Now a days everything is so commercial and made just to sell. I admit the quality of the songs to me has not fallen so much (Cinderella Complex anyone) but I wonder if Tsu-su is being seduced by the money and forgot the love he used to have.....

yeah i thought he was aiming to create the best girl group ever..i think ever since morning musume has surpassed pink lady tsunku probably thinks that he already did..well i for one want mm to succeed as artists not as juz another pretty face..and for the record i also dont think that the quality of the songs have went down that much..i mean i love the new "cool" morning musume image they have going on right now(cant wait for the next single or album even )..the factor that has gone down is probably the voice quality of some new members..now maybe the best time to say what i think about the matter..let me juz start off with kusumi koharu..its probably why i dont like her that much..well she does look nice..she dances differently..and she has a great character(not the cutesy type)but when it comes to singing..all shes ever good for are one-liners..an example would be when she sings as kirari..those are solo songs..and it takes a lot out of her voice..she gets tired vocally..thats why even in concerts she juz lip-syncs/lip-sing(whatever you call it)..thats my opinion..and as for mitsui aika..well she has improved since she first joined the group..but she still has a lot of improving to do..as for junjun and linlin..junjun can sing..but being chinese and all makes her sing differently in terms of diction(japanese words sound like chinese when she sings)but not much problem there..linlin to me has a unique voice(when both of them sing together linlin's voice is more recognizable to me than junjun's)i really like her voice so no problem there as well..as for senior members..ai-chan..i dont think you need to question her singing prowess ..reina..well she wouldnt be singing as lead if she wasnt good right..gaki-san..i really like her voice..especially live..kame-chan..i like her when she sings slow songs(haru beautiful everyday anyone?)sayu..hmmm..her voice is cute..thats all..

lol i kinda agree with shaggymonkey hehe ^^
Morning Musume didnt really go down on the songs...
Resonant Blue was a great song & a good PV... i think thats the first PV that has a lot of versions! hehe ^^
but i don't think Tsunku loss his vision about MoMusu bringing happy music to people... there are great songs that he have done... ^^

yup..still a lot of great songs coming from the group(tsunku rather)..thats why im such a fan..i never get tired of listening to their music..
i juz realized something..the old momusu(the days of the OG)had a lineup of great singers..from nacchi to gomaki-san..thats why everyone was so into momusu in those days..in todays lineup there are only few members who can actually sing..but in my opinion thats how a singing group should be..you put 2-4 great singers as lead..then add another extra 5 members to sing as back up..sure the old momusu was great..probably the best..but with all those great singers they tend to try and overpower each other..in todays momusu..they are what you call "in-sync"(not N'sync)or in other words they synchronize well with each others voices..the OG had different ranges of voices while the current members have somewhat similar tones to their voices..thats why they have great melody and harmony..they tend to sing much more like a group now..well thats my opinion..
and also they also look more like a group now..coz the age difference between members is not that big now as it was a few years back..thats why i love the current lineup..
