Kim Jong Kook singing at Jang Hyuk's wedding 06-02-'08

Stars, Wind, Sunlight and Love (Album 3th: This is me 2005)

It's a beautiful morning. The sun is shining down on us.
I'm filled with happiness as I see you sleeping by my side.
I find myself wandering among the stars and the wind.
You wake up and whisper my name.
Baby, never say goodbye.
All I need is you.
Nothing is the world can ever replace you.
Baby, don't you ever cry.
The world is beautiful because of you.
I'm in love. I on cloud nine.
Your sweet scent makes me smile.

Sometimes, I wonder if I deserve to be so happy.
I get scared that everything might disappear.
I hold you close and pray to the heaven above.
Baby, never say goodbye.
All I need is you.
Nothing in the world can replace you.
Baby, don't you ever cry.
The world is beautiful because of you.
I'm in love. I'm on cloud nine.

We're like the lovers high up on the clouds.
But, the more I hold you, the more I miss you.
Baby, never say goodbye.
All I need is you.
Baby, don't you ever cry.
The world is beautiful because of you.
I'm in love. I'm on cloud nine.
I want this feeling to last forever.
You're the only one I'll ever love.

"Kim Jong Kook is Exclusive Singer for Wedding Celebratory Songs",
Thursday June 12, 2008 Korea

The “Love Call” towards Kim Jong Kook to sing the celebratory song at weddings is intense. After waiting for his military service discharge, (people) are jostling around to have him sing at their wedding celebration.

Kim Jong Kook was released from military service on 23rd May after 26 months of service. On that day he revealed his plan to those in attendance, “I will rest a bit then in Fall. I will come back to the fans with a good album.” However since then, he’s been busy being here and there.

He is at the top in singing at weddings. Lately, Kim Jong Kook is the one name that top stars want to have taking the mic singing in their wedding.

2nd June was the start with him singing at Jang Hyuk’s wedding. On that day Kim Jong Kook, along with fellow Yongddi Club (Dragon Club) Cha Tae Hyun and Hong Kyung Min, sang a sweet celebratory song for the couple (Jang Hyuk and wife) blessing them for their future.

Furthermore, Kim Jong Kook has also received the “Love Call” to sing at announcer Na Kyeong Eun and gagman Yoo Jae Suk’s wedding on 6th July. On 4th June, Yoo Jae Suk announced his wedding plans in a press conference at Ilsan Kyunggi-do MBC Dream Center. He said, “I am not formally requesting but I’m just calling on a promise that Kim Jong Kook made 3 years ago”, intending on asking Kim Jong Kook to sing the celebratory song at the wedding.

Kim Jong Kook’s management company representative said, “Kim Jong Kook hasn’t heard anything about singing at Yoo Jae Suk’s wedding but the two are really close so naturally Kim Jong Kook would accept the invitation.”

Even while Kim Jong Kook was serving in the military, he received invitation to sing celebratory songs at weddings. On June 2006 he sang the celebratory song at Cha Tae Hyun’s wedding and blessed the couple for their future.

Yes, it is! The same trek in the US... As part of their true citizenship service of their country... I think it's part of their traditions and laws to obey with.

It's really a compulsory in their country to go on in a military service but it depends to the guy if when he will be going to serve. And it should be in early 20's to mid-30's range of age. If the guy is not physically fit and he has dual citizenship or an alien to their respected country, they have an excuse not to go or serve, as long as they have a relevant or valid papers and is on an excusable reasons. So it's really mandatory to serve in a military service as part of their country's laws and governance.
