This is a dicussion thread for those who wanna put their views about liking a person of another religion

Let's say...
a muslim and a christian? - how would that go?
a christian and an atheist? - i can hear the yelling already...
a muslim and a jew? - has a relationship like this happen?
a jew and a catholic? - it's only half and half

DO NOT BASH or FLAME about the religions.

This is merely a "would you risk it" question...

Joking about the other religions will result to banning of the user

If there's a thread like this, feel free to REPORT and LOCK

Catholics are not supposed to judge someone by their Religion . Or are they ?
It was said God created equal and everyone should be loved just like how Jesus loved .
Does Jesus hate other Religions ? I wouldn`t know .

If this does happen , I`m sure we`ll figure something out .

I'm sure it's happened before but I wouldn't do it personally. Some people are also open to converting in order to adjust. I think you should just find a person who shares the same religion as you because some families are very strict and that's when issues occur.

God doesn't judge someone from their religion or at least thts wut i think. My friend's mom is Catholic and his dad is Muslim and their family is going well. It's not like they care about the religion as long as they love each other(referring to my friend's parents). Then i guess it's okay unless the parents make a big fuss outta it and someone or some people commit suicide.

In my opinion, I'm disappointed in the barriers religion has created. People are too closed-minded as a whole. Religion should be an aspect of life, not life itself. If two people truly love each other, they will overcome that boundary and respect the difference. Their families should accept it as well. If they don't, to hell with them.

BTW, I'm the product of a cross-religion marriage =P My mom is Roman Catholic and my dad is Hindu (not just Hindu...he comes from a family of Brahman Vedic scholars).

It can always work out if they love eachother the only problem would com from the family of said people. Plus the marige serimony would also be a cous of problems but they should be able to get over it, or the family could just banish/ disown them which is more likely to hapen then an acceptence of the other family wise. The two people might argue over wich religion to rase thier kids wit.

I actually know someone with parents where one is an atheist and the other a Christian. Its really not a big deal. My friend says they don't have much dispute over it, although the atheist doesn't go to church on Sundays when the other does, but I guess that's obvious. I don't see why you have to marry within your religion anyway. Isn't love still love either way? Two people are bound to be different, be it different in religion or another area. It's near impossible to find someone who agrees with you on everything. It's called accepting differences.

Edit: What is this "Wrong Religion" you speak of?

is your partner being of another religion going to stop you being of your religion
if it isnt then whats the problem

my inlaws have totally different beliefs to me. im not going to stop their grandchildren from seeing them
also im a spiritualist, and my fella doesnt believe in any of that kind of thing, hes a plain christian, whereas his parents burn paper money and leave food out for the hungry ghosts.
its all about respecting peoples differences
