To play, percussion/keyboard instruments, which I can pick up easily and have fun playing (yay drums!), followed by wind, followed by string, which tend to either hurt my hands or just feel... odd. To listen to, one instrument is just plain not enough. I can't enjoy music without harmony. I do have a particular appreciation of brass instruments, though, especially since they tend to be in groups most of the time.

I used to play keyboard long, long ago. I enjoyed it, when I was in the mood. I don't think I still remember how to play it now.

I'd very much like to learn how to play guitar. I'm just.. too lazy to learn it online. I need a teacher and I can't find any (my guitar is so dusty and cold)

Strings. Although I do enjoy some Classical/Romantic time period music (Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms), the Vitamin String Quartet is the epitome of my love for strings--particularly violins. Their tributes to Tool and A Perfect Circle are quite beautiful.

Being that I like a lot of stuff in the rock genre--percussion comes next. A good drummer can add a lot of character to a song.

Beethoven's "Pathetique" is probably my favorite piece of Classical music--granted, I haven't listened to a lot.
