Wow, this is awesome! 8D
What always happens to me is that while I'm asleep, I "wake up" and start trying to wake myself up. It always scares me because it feels like I'm dead. I can't move or anything. I don't normally have lucid dreams though and ^ yeah it usually happens when I sleep too much
It would be so cool if I did though! Lucid Dreaming is awesome
I didn't even know the powers had names and stuff

This happens to me too. It's called "sleep paralysis" and scientists are pretty baffled by it because no real research has been carried out thus for. More than likely you actually are not awake, but dreaming that you're in your bed. Try calming yourself and looking at your surroundings, you might notice that they are not exactly as they are when you're awake. A digital clock will help. Look at the clock when you're "paralyzed" then look at it again when you can move, the numbers will be usually very different indicating that you were probably dreaming.

I feel for you though. It's not a pleasant experience.

Ah cool! Thanks

I dream. I sometimes dream of the future. I fel my body seprated from my own and can see myself like a movie. It helped me alot. It protected and prepaed me for events. I find this very weird but I feel the more I try to analyze it the weirder it gets.....

I can snap myself awake at will when dreaming.. I remember everything very detailed.. I can obtain free will.. and once I was able to alter someone else's actions within the dream (though I think that might of been PART of the dream)

For some reason I get the feeling that the original poster was trying to sell a line of crap, but anyways...Personally, I remember having a bit of control when I was younger (6 years old to early teens), but now I don't control a dream anymore unless it is a dream that I intentionally start forming to help me get to sleep (they often end up being pretty intricate stories and I am kinda surprised that I always remember exactly where I leave off), but I do feel pain in dreams. I have had nightmares before where I was being eaten alive, but was not dying all that fast and I couldn't wake up. Still, feeling "pain" in a dream is kinda hard to describe I guess - it is not quite the same as in real life; its a bit different for me...Pain in a dream for me is not as precise or intense as it can often be in real life, rather it is more of a general tingling feeling that hurts a bit (kinda like what people who have nerve damage in part of their body describe pain feels like). Its strange - I know, but its true...

I have lucid dreams about once a month. Whenever I realize I'm dreaming I try to fly. It's neat because I keep getting better. I can fly longer and I don't fall up into space anymore!

i realize it near the end of the dream and there's where i start altering it...wierd i know >.< but it works. and i love it when it's a good dream so i make sure it doesn't end.

i can kinda have a licid dreaming, but the dream has to be clear to me and not a whole bunch of blurry mess. if i had repeated dreams, i'll try to make it better too ^.- i'll be able to realize the transition of it going to blurry and i'll know it's a dream...but it's hard to convince myself, haha.

hmm, i'm not sure if i totally understood this topic, so if i'm wrong, it's okay to correct me =]

but guys, have you ever realized, if you've never done something (i.e. kissing) before, and in that dream, you're kissing...it always skips over it o.O

I think I have lucid dreams once in a while, it's weird, once I can tell I'm in the middle of a dream, I try to make it as pleasant as I can but if I can't I try to wake up, it always happens between 4am to 7am.

whenever i'm about to die in my dream, i always realise it's a dream and then i can change things in the dream. not god style, just pointing my finger and it's changed, i need to concentrate and close my eyes (in the dream).

i dun really dream. Im sure i have them.. i just dont remember them. Though lately ive had this thing where im awake and i start thinking about things (like baseball) then i think about certain situations (throwing a no hitter) then i look at the clock and i realize that like 30 minutes have past and i dont remember anything except what i was thinking about. I usually have a book on tape running and then i realize that i dont remember what has happened for the last 30 min...Usually i need like 7 hours of sleep to get through a day without getting tired before i go to bed the next night, but i find that now i only need like 6 hours as long as i have at least an hours worth of those daydreams during the day.
