Ep 2 is so much better in terms of plot and it flows really well. The pilot was to introduce the background and cast members which really dragged...Looking forward to ep 3!!

I actually adore Kimutaku's broccolli head! Anyways he straightens it when he's out in the public (means when he goes to work) and it reverts back to the curly style only when he's home (apparently it curls after washing?!)

I've started watching this already. I think this drama is the season's finest yet. I may be biased because it's Kimura but really this drama has it all. Solid cast + amazing plot + humor + valuable lessons that one can pick out. Really loving it. Not to mention I love seeing Kimura and Eri Fukatsu coupling again as well as Kimura and Abe Hiroshi team up again since Hero.

Yep Lilly you took the words out of my mouth! I've been following CHANGE since the first episode came out and each episode just seems to outdo the last one. Fyi I was so mesmerized by Takuya's performance in episode 7 that I saw it 3 times!!! LOL I know I'll get CHANGE withdrawal symptoms for sure when they air the final episode but I just cant help it!

CHANGE = Good acting + great cast + direction + humor + more stats and figures about Japan than you can digest LOL!! However being the consummate drama fan that I am, I just enjoy each episode when it comes on. Even episode 5, which I deemed as very "slapstick", changed my opinion subsequently upon re-watching. Kimura fans who have yet to catch CHANGE, what are you waiting for, ha? This IS the moment!

CHANGE is definitely the drama of the spring season for me after another Fuji TV drama, Last Friends, fizzled out at the last episode. Even the SP couldn’t redeem itself in my opinion. (Maybe my hopes for LF were too high after the great momentum it had built from the start, but in the end...?) But that's another story. This is CHANGE's moment.

Asakura Keita spotted in the Wall Street Journal - July 1, 2008 - edition featured beside the real Japanese Prime Minister Fukuda Yasuo!!!

Apologies for some truncation. If anyone can find a complete version of the article online, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks! *Wink! Our Kimura is really garnering worldwide attention with this role, ne?* (^_^)v

Footnote: Mina-san, if you think the font is too small, please right click on your mouse and save the article on your pc to read. You should be able to enlarge the font on your pc and read at your leisure (except for the truncated parts, gomen ne =P )

It has been finalised that the last episode for CHANGE will be broadcast on July 14, 2008 in a 1 1/2 special. In that episode, Asakura Keita will give a 15 minute speech. Worries are that it will be *too long* so lets hope it doesnt weigh the plot down...

Kimutaku finished his scenes for CHANGE on June 27, 2008 and it was reported by a fan that he was seen boarding a JAL plane with his family to go on a holiday. Rumors are he went to Hawaii for some sun surf and sand after working relentlessly since New Year I think... Let's hope he will be all tanned and healthy looking as there's rumors that he'll be involved in the Fuji 27 HR TV too with Sanma. And I wonder when does his promotional work for I COME WITH THE RAIN fit into all this? Mm...

I have also been following Change right from the beginning to the last 9th episode. I like best the last part of the 7th episode----the 10 minutes showing nothing but Keita's back----and the part in Keita's study in the 9th episode. Takuya is such a great actor, even with his back only he can convey the deep sadness he is feeling about the departure of his secretary and the death of the little boy.

I hope the speech that he is to deliver will not be long. First, Keita has been delivering too many speeches already in Change. I would like to see more action not words. Also, 15-minute is really too too long. Well, let us wait and see.

On Friday"s What's up Smap, Takuya has dropped a lot of hints about the ending. He also joked abut the G-8 summit held in Hokkaido and questioned why Asakura Keita was not allowed to attend. Ha ha

Just finished the series. It was of course very good, great acting. Also have to say I love Abe Hiroshi, he's so funny. My favorite scene is in the first episode where mojakura meets the secretary for the first time. When they're looking at each other through the ladder. it had kind of a "love at first sight" feel to it.
