I like him on talk shows, when he was young. Amusing and funny. That's how I like most actors/artists. It's tv personality for me otherwise they'll be just nothing in the world of famous people.

ok at first i couldnt stand him,cause of all the fangirls, then i saw proposal daisakusen and totally fell in love!! then when i saw him in nobuta, that was it for me, im his lol hes a great actor and not cause his hot or sexy, he can portray many roles, none similar and still be touching,sad or funny or kinda crazy.. im not into the music side,sorry but ive heard him live, he cant sing, if we all took singing lessons,we could probably achieve the same level, dancing not impressive either, but hey thats how japanese boy-bands roll, still havent heard one even near as good as DBSK, but thats beside the point... He is very good at acting and as an entertainer in general u could say, he has good looks, at first i wasnt impressed,but with the acting he just got hotter and hotter in my eyes lol so yup now im a fan, i can even manage to bear through some of the music, though i wont be downloading any anytime soon lol

how can anyone not like him?

Initially I was the same as Samantilla when it comes to JE music. Even if I do not follow the Korean Ent. industry (i just know of their peeps) their boybands do have better voices,choreography and songs. Probably because their songs sound very American and that's what I'm used to listening to. IDK for sure.
BUT i have grown to appreciate some of the music of the JE boys now cause I love the fandom so much.. It's super fun. It's really nice watching clips of them when they were tweens doing random stuff like boat paddling contests. I also like how the boys have a sense of humor and some speak openly about not getting along with each other/disliking each other. The fandom's scandalous, etc... oops im sorry I got carried away this is "why people love Yamapi" thread not "Why people love je".

So about YAMAPI. I liked Toma first then found out he had a way famous best friend which was Yamapi. So then I got so curious because I could not see WHY. Then I decided to watch Stand Up and Nobuta at the same time then I slowly saw his appeal and now he is my favorite out of all the other boys! He just has that effect on you which cannot be explained. He also has this mysterious aura that he never gives away too much details of himself in interviews. He seemingly seems different on screen and when he is with his friends. He is an ice prince. He said it himself he is only nice to people he likes.

Yamapi as a whole may be over rated but when it comes to his acting skills he is underrated! He is actually good in acting. Even better when he was younger rather than older though..

He is a hard worker, honest and he knows his limits. He does not claim to be a good singer or dancer! he even said that his dancing is weird and that he cannot sing his songs like how they sound in the CD. He is not selfish that he did not wish to go solo. He values friendships a lot and his family. He also handled the korea incident like a pro. ~ The people with him were cussing but he kept it cool. Except yeah sometimes they joke he may not be human cause he is expressionless! haha But I also find that amusing about him.

and hello!!! He has nice features and skin (ok so maybe his teeth were kinda bad at one point but I am guessing it was from smoking cause his early jr days they weren't bad). Don't forget the bod! Plus his best friends are Toma and Jin. ahahaha j/k

Yamapi hes really cute and sexy looking. Hes a really good actor in the drama shows that i have seen him already. I really wish he gets more new Drama. I really like to see more of him
