I guess when it comes to love...
Scientifically speaking,, it is involuntary.. It just come... You cannot avoid from feeling it...
So whoever is that person whom you felt that LOVE, then so be it...
Regardless of how old is that person..

well ...no .

who cares about ages ..? true feelings towards each other are more precious . well ..if u meet someone in ur age and u hate him , just ditch him and find another one . if u find one old one or a young one and u develop special feelings , why not ?

I dun really know.....
But is there still such a thing as real love anymore?
If there's not
there's no point in carrying on this conversation anymore.

i don't think age matters. They say it's even better if the guy is older by 3-5 years because their maturity are delayed compared to girls'. Besides, if you love each other, nothing would really matter I guess. ^_^

Age doesn't matter. It's a big factor, yes, but if two people really love each other, they will be able to work out trivial matters like that. It's really hard to have a big age difference. Three years isn't much of a big thing but beyond six years is hard, yes. Things like studies, jobs, time together, family acceptance, MONEY... It can all be affected by age. But if the couple is determined to make it work, if they truly cherish what they have and if they're willing to go through whatever, TOGETHER, then I say age should really be the least of your problems.

Girl: OMG!!! IM SO PROUD OF YOU
Boy: yeah thnx
Girl: i have to tell you something
Boy: go ahead
Girl: well i love you.
i always have i cared about you and your always in my heart
Boy: thats cool i love you too but your too young your 14 and i'm 17
Girl: but i love you, age shouldn't matter
Boy: i know u do and i love u but i found this girl and shes my age
Girl: i just thought......(crying she logs off)
The next day the boy turns on the news and hears that a 14 year old girl cut her wrists and wrote on the wall "Age never matters"
The boy then recives a call from the girl he chose and she says "I'm leaving you for the one i love.
That night the boy hangs himself and writes on the wall "She's right. Age doesn't matter. I love you and always will.
Is tat age really matter in love ????

This story is stupid, people who will kill themselves over "love" in this manner have no understanding of the concept.

On topic...this has a lot of double standards, like this.

If a 16 year old is with a 20 year old, is it THAT nasty, some parents have 8 year diffrence's, so you could argue no.

A 5 year old is with a 43 year old, thats just sick, period

It all depends on the situation.

Er....3 years? Comon.... Haha. It may seem like a big issue when you're in your teens but once you reach 20s it doesnt matter anymore.

to just say that its three years, doesn't make sense, i'd say if shes 14 theres a hugs maturity difference, outwardly and socialy she may be more mature but in terms of making decisions in life and taking responsibility for themselves at 14 your still just a child.

i say she's too young perhaps 16-19 would be more suitable but still you only find out how much you don't know when you think you know everything teenagers think they know evertything so would rate themselves as mature but again they don't really grasp what that means,

srry peeps i would say ney on this subject.

well...sometimes, age does matter...i.e. when the age difference is too big....hmmm...like an 80-yr-old man marrying an 18-yr-old woman for instance...you gotta admit, that sounds a little out of the norm ....

but generally speaking, i dont think it's wrong to love someone older or younger than you (whatever your age difference is)....besides, loving in itself is never considered wrong in the first place...

Of course when you're in love, it doesn't matter how old your special someone is.

In my case, I didn't expect it really. I've fallen in love with a 25-year old young man. He's 5-year older than me. So I don't care how old he is.
