Officially Discontinued

— Part 1: Warm Welcome
Vatic Daiten has suffered from the recent loss of his parents. As their last will Vatic is sent away to live in Century Tower, a city in one stucture. However, the tower goes beyond its walls and ceilings, dreaming that one day a prophet would come to fulfill its destiny.

— Part 2: About the Tower
What Life rests before Vatic. As his enrollment into college is completed, he is given Five months to take off of his education. What is a boy new to a city such as Century Tower to do with such free time?

— Part 3: Incrimination
Tylin is at work. There won't be school for months. Vatic has to do something to pass the time. As he takes his sword in hand, Housekeeping makes a visit, but as a minor he can't just have that sword. There is no way he will let her know he has it.

— Part 4: Coming of Kith
Oh hell. Is it really her? Kina Ludus encounters Vatic for the first time in two years. Being such good friends before, Vatic can finally be his real self. She somehow is able to bring the best out of him. However this poses as a problem, as they are followed by a sertain somebody.

— Part 5: Its Top in the Heavens
A rematch? ... Tylin brings Vatic to the beach to fullfill his urge for a cool place. But things arent exactally going as she planned. As Vatic invites Kina without Tylin knowing, things end up falling apart ... What else could go wrong?

— Part 6: Ethereal Stairwell
This is not part of Century Tower. In the clouds and in the glare of the sun, this circular walkway accends endlessly. It was not seen from the tower. It was not connected to the tower, but the tower is in plain sight from here. There must be at least one person out there with an explanation.

— Part 7: Back to Square One
Ever since the insident, a sence of normalness has returned to Century Tower. As Vatic, Tylin, and Kina prepare for an upcoming party, Celestia returns with familiar intentions. However, there's something different.

That's cool. It's kinda like what an arcology is like, right? having everything in one building. I like the idea of the story but somehow the text seems small but i guess you can fix that later. (mine has messy writing)

*Arcology = architecture + ecology. A self-sustaining building that can be placed under polluted, difficult or inhabitable locations.

EDIT: oh yea and I just read the first chapter only.

I only read the first chapter as well. It seems like an odd anime, and I love odd animes.

to be really really honest, chapter 3 didn't make much sense. it was.. weird in a confusing, that's-not-supposed-to-happen way. but hey, this is really good stuff here, you have enough substance and sheen packed into it. just make sure to include more information next chapter; i'm dying to know exactly what is going on,

I've been trying to navigate deviantart for quite a while with no success. I'm just going to give up and read your stories in the small print. Sorry for making you wait.

I'm done.

I'm not sure why a bunch of people are confused about part three. It seemed pretty straight-forward to me. Of course, I am wondering why Vati would, even briefly, contemplate murder to protect the secret of his sword. Not only that, but Celestia seems surprised when he doesn't kill her, so there must be something at stake. His reaction seems to hint at details of the setting that have not been specifically stated. Perhaps the punishment for carrying weapons before you're 21 without special permission is harshly punished. Also, he seems to like his sword; is it special? Is it magical in any way?

Which of course, leads me to my next topic of interest: How common is magic? (if it indeed was magic that Celestia was doing) I'm going to guess that the general public, along with Vati, don't know about magic, judging from Vati's reaction to the sleep spell, which was utter confusion.

Episode 4 interests me, because it seems like Vati is less normal than he appears. He has a background in fighting after all, and apparently, quite an extensive one. I'm still guessing he doesn't know about magic.

By the way, I acknowledge the possibility that I am entirely wrong and that wasn't magic that Celestia did, although I doubt it.

"magic" is explained later in the story ... Celestia has a very good reason for being able to do that spell.
and refering to part 5 when Tylin uses "Magic" it is also explained in the part (however it is only mildlly explained) ...

My suspicions about the legality of weapons are raised once more by episode 5. It really seems like in this setting, possessing weapons is an even bigger deal than the real world. Perhaps we'll learn more about that later.

On a separate note, I was entirely wrong about Vati not knowing about magic, he must have simply not been expecting Celestia's spell in episode 3, which was why he was surprised by it.
