Yeph that's right! wow, that's very long. I just want to add something. In Harajuku, there is a place called "Harajuku Bridge" you see some of those pic with bridge background? that's where cosplayers hangout in weekends

Yes, but there are more than just Harajuku. You all just know it because of Gwen and her HARAJOOKOO girls. I hate Gwen with a passion.

And, the cosplayers, I don't think there is THAT MANY on Harajuku bridge. Most of those pictures are probably taken near conventions. Cosplay isn't a street fashion, its a costume.

Um... no. Harajuku was not made my Gwen. Gwen's clothes are just cheap imitations of true Harajuku fashion.

Harajuku is the fashion district in Tokyo that became really popular with people in their teens and early twenties some time in the 90's I believe- not too sure, it's been a while since I've had to inform people of what it is. Clothing there is notorious for either being inexpensive, super trendy, or both. The bridge mentioned above leads to a famous Japanese shrine and every Sunday cosplayers and fashionistas in general hang out with their friends and have their pictures taken here. Recently though it seems there are more tourists visiting than actual cosplayers... Mostly the cosplayers are dressed as members of visual kei bands, but VERY VERY rarely you might see a random anime cosplayer. I could keep going on the subject, but I think that's good enough and someone else has pretty much summarized the rest.

This is the entrance to the famous Takeshita Dori- the main fashion street of Harajuku.

One of the many stores lining Takeshita Dori.

Cosplay, and the spectators in the background.

Two lolitas and their visual kei cosplay companions.

More visual kei band cosplayers.
