what I think is because most pastors are "afraid" of some of the gospel and tend to hide some truths to appeal to the public more (The Catholic church especially does not have a good history to begin with) No offense, but I think Catholics tend to do this more than Protestants because I have religious debates with my Catholic friend and I was surprised he was oblivious to some parts of the gospel such as the gifts of the holy spirit and many other important facts from the bible

Yea...I've also noticed tht Catholics tend to hide things and Christians tend to say it but they accept it and won't do it when they know its a sin. I've also noticed tht there aren't tht many Christians cuz there r mainly Protestants and Catholics, but I'm guessing tht there r probably a lot of Christians in Europe.

Catholics and Protestants are Christians. Christian means within Christ.

Although some Protestants would protest that statement =D

In all seriousness, if you are really looking for a deeper understanding to the concept of sin in the context of Christianity, than I hope you are considering going to church so you can ask your pastor or other spiritual leader about it.

Posting this sort of question on an irrelevant internet forum is sure to bring you misinformation and trolling. Although I have to admit its been interesting to see what people's takes on the question have been.

Its good to hear someone professing religious commitment, I wish you good luck in finding some answers
