Claire said it well when she said that it takes effort to be witty. Plus, when we do try to be creative, it simply bites us in the end. Maybe we might see some more creative locks, now that there are more mods to handle the load, but I can't promise anything, really.

I don't see why we need to make locks more "creative" anyway. It's not like they're the most exciting thing to start with.
So what...are we going to make pretty little borders and put the words "locked" in shiny glittery letters and add a knock knock joke at the end of it?

And those who purposely go back to the locked thread to see what the mod wrote....that's just sad.

Forum mod? I thought you were an uploader? Oh well, I see you around in the forums a lot, yes, I sound like a stalker. And yes, I do stalk red from time to time.

~haven't really noticed but, congrats to the new mods!

We can't disappoint the fans, can we?

Yeah, but I get your point. Honestly, the only reason why many mods make creative locks is simply due to boredom. Either the mods now aren't bored anymore, or they're even bored of making creative locks. Oh well...

Not, that's not it. They are so bored that they talk about how making creative locks was due to boredom. =]

Those locks that derange from the common method are spontaneous 90% of the time.

I did kinda make a smart remark in a thread I locked earlier, today... But seriously, people who read lock posts really need to find something else to do with their time...

Isn't a "locked" thread like Pandora's Box? Even after Pandora was told never to open the box, she opened it anyway. Why? To satisfy her curiosity of what was in the box to warrant her being warned not to open it.

Reading a "locked" thread is the same thing. To see for what reason the thread was locked.

Like putting your finger inside an electrical outlet for the first time to see what happens, and then you get shocked.

DID somebody rape the front page?

No, maybe you have a concussion and lack good judgement for the time being.

The front page looked awful, this new one is more logical, less bloated, the spaces are better used, etc. It took months for it to get changed in a good way but at last, the front page looks decent. It does not feel like craiglist anymore.

Mods, what other changes were made this week?

Edit: oh we can PM by clicking the envelope thing, cool.

I do, too... we have to be strict about the anti-flaming rules, even if it means subduing the sarcasm/humor in our lock posts.

Damn it . Can you maybe add it in from time to time ?

I tried to be witty but after a while it just takes too much effort...Just typing Locked is a lot easier ^^

And also I got attacked by some girl for being mean and evil when locking her thread so I decided to tone down the sarcasm a notch.

o.o Is that a hint of laziness I see ? And , you admit that mods are evil ? Or is it just you ?

To anyone who pays attention to this thread : What do you do before your exams ?
