Not only that... but prostate cancer usually occurs in men over 50 years of age. Either mauz is one unlucky kid (and outlier), or he lied about his age and he's really 50.

I've heard that one of the causes of prostate cancer can be overuse of the prostate gland... >.>

(for those who don't know the prostate gland is part of the ejaculation process)

Or the rumor is a big lie by someone who doesn't know the difference between "contracted" versus "developed"...

Excessive ejaculation can cause prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland), but not prostate cancer. In fact, some studies show that ejaculating early on can reduce the chances of contracting prostate cancer, which I find rather amusing. They even continue to say that an optimal time for ejaculating would have to be by the age of 20... but knowing kids these days...

If he does have prostate cancer (or any kind), his estimated remaining life span would be 5 to 10 years when it's controlled by (external or internal) radiation or hormone therapy. Radical prostatectomy is ideal to decrease the urinary symptoms and slows the metastasis; however, abnormal cells are still going to grow, compromise the organs, and create complications.
