Is anyone currently reading Shingeki no Kyojin? It is probably one of the best manga I've read in awhile. It would be even better if it got an anime adaption.

I've been hearing good things about it.
It looks good and I really love survival-type anime/mangas.

I should read it.

Love manga like Shingeki no Kyojin, brutal survival manga where people actually fight for their lives. Bonus if the cause of their struggle is a real mystery that you want to "solve". The whole fight to survive and become stronger through the ordeals they suffer... So beautiful.

It's among one of many manga series that I'm currently reading.

Get the hell out of the house. There are a lot of free things such as events, museums, etc. here in DC. It doesn't matter where I go, as long as I'm enjoying myself.

There is suppose to be this exhibit on The Art of Video Games at the Smithsonian Museum of American Art. I've been meaning to go, but haven't had the time. This weekend would be a nice opportunity.

Hmmm, I wouldn't have thought it was so easily to go out and about in America since everything is so isolated (maybe DC is different?) and going out can be difficult unless you're ok going out yourself, I mean it's generally a social thing. You must be determined to get out! Much respect.

Getting out is pretty awesome though! I just came back from getting burnt to cinders in Spain! That museum sounds really fun! Nothing like that in the UK to my knowledge.

Hey Mods, I'm bored atm while I'm waiting for DOTA 2 to update, so I'm posting randomly on the CR forums.

So what do you guys tend to do when you're bored? [Ice-breaker question go!]

Lots and lots of things! Read books, draw stuff badly, write horribly cliche prose, go out, karaoke, bike riding (just started!), play the piano (by watching stuff on youtube since i'm really slow at reading notes), play flash games, ignoring the 360 until BL2 comes out, etc.

If I was in DC, i'd most definitely check out that Art of Video Games exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum.

That's a pretty honest answer! I love books, karaoke and also have just started bike riding! My first bike is a Honda CBF 125cc. I've already crashed it and hurt myself pretty badly . I took a corner too fast and instead of emergency braking I paniced, started the turn then used the brake whilst cornering and painted the road with human and bike. Lllleearnn frommm meeeee!

Another important thing is being able to sympathize with the author’s characters and their struggles. You actually care about what happens next. I actually found myself crying reading a few chapters. And I just love the art.

DC is the nation's capital, nothing is isolated here. There are so many things you can do it's ridiculous, if you take the time to look for them. And the good thing is, most of these museums are free. I don't mind going out alone. If no one else is down, than I don't wait for them. Life is too short.

Ah I see, I've only ever visited Florida, I figured other places would be more clustered but I didn't expect DC was one of them. That sounds really awesome, I love visiting culture sites. I should visit sometime. That's cool, I've went out a few times alone myself, but I tend to make new friends when I do. Eventually it's hard to have days to yourself at all!

Hey, hey! Keep the 'OP nuked' reports going eh? =P

Summer was pretty bad for me, went through a hard time but everything's good now. What's new with CR? Kippu nuked and we have size limitation for avatars now.

I have no idea, but it must have something to do with her moving on with life. We all have lives outside of CR you know and sometimes we have to let go of some things to do what we want out there such as starting a family, spending time with your love ones, or school. That is why you rarely see me on for the past two years, except for working silently in the background without anyone knowing.

It was sad to see Kippu disappear but she will always be remembered and I support her decision because she knew what she wanted to do and I hope she is doing well out there.

Well, I don't really wanna brag about it, but they just refused to offer me that position.
