Hello to the Mods, have any of you seen the tv show The Walking Dead? If so what you think of it?

BK checked for problems in video playback for all of the Space Brothers episodes a few months ago and I was forced to listen/watch it in the background. I'd recently forgotten the second opening song. Now I've got it and the dance stuck in my head again. Thanks a lot.

I snorted at the "Godmod" comment. If you're the Godmod, what would that make the rest of the community staff? Besides, it wouldn't fit the theme of nobility ranking.



BK didn't even know his rank got changed until I mentioned it to him a few days ago. I guess someone else on staff changed it as a joke. Do you keep up with anyone inactive on the site? I know Zeronite is no longer active here. Frankly, I'm surprised he's still a mod. He, thenicooole, and I play together on Steam occasionally. Since I'm watching stuff on CR again maybe that means we'll have more opportunities to catch up.

Thanks for the list of recommendations you two! A friend told me about Sword Art Online when it was released (although for some reason he hates CR's subs) so I've been keeping up with it. I'm still finishing up Secret Garden on Netflix, but hopefully I can start on some of mocha's suggestions when that's over.

I keep in touch with Bedlam cause he's like practically a best friend and Chaebi69 for when I need my papers to be looked over. Otherwise not that much people as I just don't have the time as I did back in the days. Kinda sad b/c there's not that balance anymore between my internet social life and my real world social life. It's like now mainly the real world, which is good b/c it makes me less shy out there.

Whaaatt?? The Space Brothers opening/ED have all been good in varies degrees of quality... For example, I was addicted to the 2nd ED for quite some time. The cure was listening to the album that contained a remix of the ED, ugh *shudders*.

I made a joke response to someone's question earlier in this thread, that the highest rank was Godmod. At some point someone gave me that title, so I kinda just rolled with it. Considering BK's current rank, the rest of us would need some similar lower-ranked ones. Like... Grand Prince and Grand Princess.


About Sword Arts Online: Personally, I only watch it to laugh at how bad it is. It's flooded with Gary Stue doing what they do best, any female character with a name falling in love with Gary Stue and generally deus ex machina. SAO could have been so much better, but instead it is a pandering harem show with RP elements in it.

I'd recommend more shows, but I'd prefer some info on what you like before giving more recommendations - although Nijuu Mensou No Musume* is always a good show to watch.

Ah, thank you! I remember Rooftop Prince and Sungkyunkwan Scandal receiving a lot of attention due to DBSK's Yoochun and City Hunter for KARA's Hara.



I didn't mean to imply that I disliked the opening. It's addictive. Every time I hear it I can't get it out of my head. Haha.

As for Sword Art Online, I agree. I've been told that the light novels improved after the second (current) arc so I'm holding out on it. The series does raise some interesting ideas on virtual reality and its psychological repercussions, but unfortunately you're spot-on about it being pretty bad. I still think it's worth watching (for now) for the occasional "Huh, that's an interesting thought" moment.

If it'll help give some recommendations, here's a list of anime I've watched and enjoyed: Miyazaki work, Berserk, Freedom, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Gundam series, Evangelion, Escaflowne, Monster, Mushishi, Kino no Tabi, GTO, Eden of the East, Grave of the Fireflies, Now and Then, Here and There, Mind Game, Ghost in the Shell, etc. I read more manga than I watch anime so if I want to fully watch a series past the standard 12/24/26 episode count, it needs to be really good. Thanks for any suggestions!

The plots for both dramas are really well written. If you look at the ones that Jaejoong participated in, you'll understand that even DBSK cannot save poorly written dramas..

And I think that most fan girls watched City Hunter for Lee Min Ho instead of Hara.. or both.

I actually watched City Hunter because .. yeah for Lee Min Ho lol.

Scandal! I forgot about that. That was a really good drama, not only because I am historical drama-biased, but it was hilarious lol.

Sword Art isn't "that bad". I can forgive the harem nonsense in this case because unlike most Harem shows this Gary Stue is so caught up on his own issues that he either doesn't notice or flat doesn't care that the entire female population of the world is falling at his feet.

That said the current plot is getting a bit ..... uh..... tiresome. Hopefully after they get past the fairy foo foo nonsense it picks up.
