@MJ-Rocks

Logically: you would apply for a Job. But, sometimes there are moderator application in the forums, which pop up from time to time. But, either or...that is all I know

It is as 1mirg said, I just wanted to add that for the time being I don't think there will be new positions for mod-hod announced.

When they do get announced, it is in the Site News section - so it will be easy to see if it is announced at some point.

On a different beat, anyone else watching Elementary? As long as I pretend it's not a Sherlock Holmes show, it is really good. Highly recommend if you like the kind of show with detectives and stuff. Currently at episode 6, though by the end of the day I will probably have caught up to the series' latest episode.

YESSS!!! Veerry interesting... Apparently the world tallies for people named alex are unknown, however, even so Alex is apparently the 71st most popular name for a boy in the US and the 2nd most popular in Catalonia at the moment!

How do you become a moderator? Just the steps, forgive me if this has been asked before here a couple of times, I've looked but its over 300 pages in this forum. Thanks

What kind of moderator are you referring to? You can be a moderator to a group you create here on CR ^.^.

If you want to be a mod on CR usually there is a post in the forum, you can't miss it!!! There is an application process where you answer a few questions...kinda like an online interview . However, it's been a while since we needed new mods, but keep a look for it in the future!

I watch it and like it plenty. I can treat it as a Holmes show because despite the blatant changes with Watson, location, and etc it still keeps many of the same character beats and hang ups. For example Holmes still used drugs, just now he is actually trying to quit them for obvious reasons.

I look at it just like the Robert Downey Jr./Jude Law movies. It is Holmes just not the "real Holmes". As long as I can just shuffle them into their own continuities and accept that they are not directly tied together I can deal with it.

My ultimate fear is Holmes and Watson will end up in some form of romantic entanglement and all the loonies come out of the woodwork to beat that old dead horse.

EDIT: As an aside the BBC version of Holmes simply titled "Sherlock" that came out of the last couple years was really good. While also taking place in modern times it was considerably more faithful all around than either the recent movies or the American version.

The only reason I started watching Elementary was because I got tired of waiting for new episodes of BBC's Sherlock. New episodes of that show won't be aired before 2014 because of Doctor Who. The last episode had a brilliant ending that left you wanting more.

And yes, I too am fearful of a romantic relationship between Sherlock & Watson in Elementary, that would just be bad.

Oh yes, I've seen Elementary- just a couple of eps though. In the BBC tv show: Sherlock, wonder how sherlock faked his death?

Has anyone else thought that there's a possibility of somewhere in the world, someone may have had a dream about us, even though they have no knowledge of who we are. I thought that two days ago, I think that's pretty cool to ponder on.

Hope everyone is having a good day also. o.0

I guess that means none of us are watching it! I know all about it but I just can't get interested in it. I am playing through the "game" right now but I am sort of tapped out on zombies.

It is probably a lot better if you are a Walking Dead fan, either the show or the comic. I don't think it is bad, but I think the writing, emotional impact, and story are beyond over praised. If you judge it simply as a visual novel style game, or a "light" adventure game it isn't bad at all. The choices you make do seem to at least have the illusion of impact, but it is hard to care that a guy "remembers you were ambivalent" about something when he dies 10 minutes later.

All that aside I paid 12 dollars for it on a Steam sale and I would be a liar if I said I hadn't gotten 12 dollars worth out of it. Is it worth the full price of 24-25 bucks? If you are a fan of the show I would probably say yes.

Creepy yet quite interesting. Your mind and your brain in general is quite interesting in terms of dreaming. You know what's even more interesting? If you dreamt about that person and then one day actually physically running into them somewhere. Your brain's telling you something

I know! I've had that happen actually when I was younger. The mind is something fascinating.
