(either wierd messages sent to them, quickly edited mistakes and such like that) and the possible outcomes either halarious or scary and of course i know i probably dont need to say it but dont compromise your job in the process (i dont want to get in trouble lol) so only what u feel like talking about

i used to be one of the chat moderators. you're pretty much hands on with a lot of users as a chat mod and you get close to a lot of them. i was a fairly active chatter already before i became a mod and knew a lot of people in there. awkwardness starts happening when people you're close to decide that they're above the rules or try to tell you who to ban or what to do etc. it really put me in an awkward position especially when they asked me personally to unban them for something they did wrong.

I was the only staff working on Black Friday last year. If you were around you should know that there was a crazy Black Friday Deal (1 year membership at an insanely cheap price) going on. So for those 4 days I swear I did about 600+ refunds/turning off recurring payments and my brain was totally cracking up.

There was one guy who wanted me to turn off recurring payments for his Black Friday Deal membership. For some weird reason, I did a refund for him and told him that he could purchase a Black Friday Deal now. (Yea, I totally confused the two after doing too many of them) And since our system was set up so that you are only allowed to buy it once, he could no longer buy it anymore... And there was no way I could do a partial refund for him because we do not have a tool like that in our system.

I was super embarrassed and felt really bad so I asked him to purchase an Anime membership. I decided to cancel it and refund him, give him a 1 year All-Access membership and extra two months of Anime membership after that. Unfortunately, the user replied and said that he did not have enough money to buy another membership since the refund I did for him need to take about 1-3 business days to process. In the end, I just gifted him 2 months of memberships on the spot since it was a mistake on my end. Baker and I solved everything else later on when the user got his refund and purchased his membership.

Really glad that he was considerate & understanding throughout the whole incident. And if you (the user mentioned in this post) happen to read this, honto ni Gomenasai!

Well, alexwithcandy just bring two huge pizza's, one with meat, the other without meat. That's what I'd do, in a " a gathering of people where each person or group of people may contribute a dish of food prepared by the person or the group of people, to be shared among the group." but...that is mostly due to the fact of me knowing how to cook a mean pizza xD
