I know a guy who falls in love with me on a chat... he's totally addict even though we don't really know each other... I find it weird but in another way it's soooooooo cute! The problem is that I don't know my feelings over him... I also think that this love is impossible seeing that he's really far far away from me!

I know a lot about internet love, I'm currently in love with this person who lives thousands of miles away from me. We've known each other for a few years now.
We were best friends and then I found out that I wanted to become closer to her.
(That's pretty much what I think love is. It's a desire to be close to someone and also learn and grow with them and finally, to accept their faults.)
I think people need to understand that love isn't all that physical. That is what we call lust dearies.
People talk on the net just like in real life.
If we didn't talk to each other nothing would happen.
Correct?

It's funny. I've had better friends online than on rl. I guess it's because of my old stuttering problem. It was hard for me to talk to my real life friends but the people who I talked online with.. well it wasn't so much of a problem.
Communication is the key! :U

A lot of people seem to be wondering how do you know is the other person lying when you say "I love you" over the internet... How do you know that they aren't lying when you say it face to face? A lot of murders are commited by husbands and wives that have been lying for years and that doesn't mean that they all met on the internet. A lot of people have been stabbed in the back by friends or even relatives and who knows what your bf/gf is talking about you when you aren't there. Just something to think about.

Getting to know someone on the internet works the same as in the real life. It is a slow process and in the end it is up to you if you choose to trust the other.

I have been together with my boyfriend for over six months now. We have never met, but we have talked (with microphones and webcams) almost every night since we found each other. Neighter of us was looking for a relationship, he wan't going to get into one before finishing college and I already had a boyfriend, but somehow everything just clicked between us. We talk much more in a week than some couples talk in a month and what we fell in love with was the other person, not their looks, money or anything else. I trust him more than I trust anyone else I know. Sure, our relationship lacks "real" sex, but I can wait for a good thing, it is not like I am going to die without it.

Besides, even if he had lied to me this whole time I would be glad for doing this, I have had the best six months and the best relationship of my life. Though he has spent so much money on me that I doubt that he is lying. ;P

And btw, our parents know, he has talked to my mother, I have talked to his and I am seeing him this christmas.

I dont really see how you could fall in love over the net. i get so confused when I see ppl fall in love over the net. HOW? Its all typed words. In my opininon I need to see and be able touch the person in order to fall in love with them.(how do you kiss on the net)

Hello!

Well i have seen and heard and know some friends of mind that fell in-love on the net and ends up marrying each other later on in life. And i believe there is true love on the net, probably cause there is more trust then you can find in the real world or more like in your town/city that you actually have to go look in another country.
