A relationship that you can make up, or even try to play with it? Sounds interesting.

supposedly...but the love ends when you see the person for real...but it depends...

as for my opinion...no, it doesn't exist.

i don't think it can really happen because it's just so easy for people to lie over the internet. i think they're just falling in love with a fictional character that was made up on a whim.

No, I think it kind of dumb...I mean the person who you try to date on the internet can be a bad person who what to kill you.
Who knows.

It could happen....
My piano teacher met her husband through the internet and they have a very cute cute baby son now (They called him "J-Han"! Say it! Doesn't it sound rocking awesome? I bet he'll be a pop star one day! LOL)

But most of the time though, it's rare to find a relationship that really works out through the net. It doesn't end happy for everyone.

Ugh, my cousin met her boyfriend through MAPLESTORY. But they broke up already haha.

ahmmm....yeah... but i guess your piano teacher isn't too far located from her boyfriend....
well... at their situation... it's what we rather call self-commitment....

hmm...love is what we use to describe the effects of the secretion of particular chemicals...hmm, so can never physically meeting a person stimulate said reaction?...I suppose it depends on the individual.

If for one person feeling the softness of another's skin is the trigger for the release of necessary chemicals then such a person will find love via and solely internet exceedingly difficult. If meeting another with the same ideas and beliefs as you-abstract concepts and aspects of life that we can't touch even if we were physically with the person is what triggers the production of those chemicals in another person, then that person will be far more able to 'love' on the internet.

Well that's my two cents

You can FIND love on the internet, but there is NO such thing as love on the internet. If it is, its just in Zero's oand Ones.

chemical attraction doesn't work out if the physical attribute is not present...what would then stimulate the hypothalamus to deep seat that particular thinking..........
i guess it wouldn't work out in any way!

I honestly think you can really find love on the internet...no offense to those who enjoy those online dating sites...but there is nothing realistic about finding love on the internet. Plus you don't know for sure if everything they say about themselves it true. The internet has proved itself many and many times before of what untrue facts lie between each site. Even for example: it's strange because there are even people on here who have "Crunchyroll girlfriends and boyfriends" but they don't even know the person of how they look etcetera. They just think, oh this person's personality based on what he/she types...very weird. Okay aside from that though if you have a somewhat relation to the person, maybe they're your friend's friend's buddy or something then it sounds more realistic for you guys to maybe hang out and you know more about them....though this is just what I think.

Love is an agreed commitment, not a fluctuating emotion. So no. But lust can...

hmmm..

love could also be a fluctuating emotion...since as humans we change.....
the environment change, the world changes, so as our emotion can change.
and you can't expect that love is just an agreed commitment since it can be one-sided too if only is loving the other...and the other is not loving the one....

see?

need more support for your statement...
