How to get rid of this virus

Idk where to post this type of topic so i just post it in general. If anybody knows and infected with this type of virus: backdoor.bot.15229, please tell me how to get rid of it because seems my antivirus can't remove it. Thanks for the help. Sorry if i posted it at the wrong thread.

update the anti virus of computer "B". take out hard disk of infected computer "A" and put it in the computer "B" and scan it with the anti virus. On line scan can be used after. i think that should do the job.

you think thats bad somebody hackd my laptop now everytime log into crunchy or my fav sites it crashes

try AVG 8.0 or Norton 2008 Anti-Virus

well man.. some virus are really hard to remove especially if its a registry worm or something like that

download ad aware/lava soft for free and see if you can get rid of it. it has a restore option but make sure that you have a restore point saved.

you should have another computer if not another hard disk with everything pre installed and update the anti virus. and scan the infected hard disk. you should know how to work on the very basic hardware concept.
