Well.. I don't have any chainletters on my PC, so I can't quote a one. Anyway I too received that fake Shinji message. At first even I was confused, but when I read it again for like 2-3 times, I figured it out that it can't be Shinji. Cause he doesn't create videos on CR and it's not practical for anyone to send the same message to 1000 people, even if you have 1000 pals.

The others I've received so far were simply guest book entries/ PMs with nice sayings, asking to pass them on to all pals including the sender.

What I hate most are the ones I used to receive via email saying stuff like - if you don't send this or delete it.. you'll get bad luck for 7 years, or someone in your family will die, or you will die - sort of ones. Some of the chainletters had awfully scary images of ghosts/ road accidents. Then there were ones about cancer patients and missing people.

I think most of these are made by geeks who are fond of making viruses, trojans, etc. just to collect a large number of email IDs, so that they can advertise their 'products' throughout the world.

Anyway I've deleted tons of such mails. Come to think of it, I'd have been long 'dead' or might have 'died' 100ds of times by now.. if they were as true as they claim..

Heh, I received that one before. It was fairly well done, but it is still not that hard to figure out that it was a chain-mail. Even so, it did have a ton of people fooled when it first came out. It was even in the news if I remember correctly.

There are too many chainletters going around these days and you can't ever find the source of it as it isnt easy. I have clearly stated on my profile that anyone who posts a chainletter on my guestbook or sent ones to my inbox, i will delete the chainletter and remove that person from my friends list. Good thing is, till this date i have only received two chainletters however my e-mail is much worst but this has gone down to like just maybe 7 chainletters a week.

P.S. if i look through my e-mail right now i bet i can find enough chain letters which i havent delete to fill up quite a number of pages, maybe at least 4, here if i should post every chain letter in one post.

God that one got me. it was pretty smart.

I hate the religious ones... some of them used to make me feel like a heretic for not sending any when i was younger and extremely gullible

I hate the ones that give you all this bull about friendship and then asks you to send it to all your friends including who sent it to you. It makes me feel guilty b/c I never send it back.

Psh, you forward chain letters and call yourself a friend? SHAME ON THEE.

Don't think I received it, but I remember all my pals were talking about it.. and I too was worried of losing my account. Good thing it was a fake one..

I think the religious ones are written by extremists, cause some of them sound a bit offensive. I don't know but.. I think such mails would only create negative impressions in us about those religions, no matter how much we know about them. So I wonder why they keep doing that.. unless that's what they wanted.

Gosh. I just recently got the MSN one from a friend whom I considered fairly intelligent. Oh wells.

Oh. And all those chain letters about the ghost who will appear in your room at whatever time if you don't forward this is probably the dumbest one around. Wow. That guy can so totally duplicate himself and appear in multiple houses at once.

And yes regarding the religious ones Joe_003 and sagiri007. I don't understand what's the relevant of sending chain e-mails and my faith in my religion. Shouldn't that be between me and god? I'm sure god understands if I have better things to do then waste my time with chain letters. argh!

all of them are annoying. ;___;

but i think the most cunning ones... are the ones that are all "if you're my friend...." or say things like "you're so sweet.... and if i am, you'll send this back to me and 500 other people..." XDDDD flattery is E-V-I-L!!!

also, chainletters that DON'T tell you to pass it on, but have some sort of trivia in it, or interesting fact. then, somehow, you're compelled to forward it... then it just keeps on going... and before you know it you've started a chainletter. those ones are sneaky o.O

here's a plain evil example!!arghs i can't stand those friendly friendly ones.they make me wanna send them around! so i'm trying to make myself only sendit to the one who sent it to me(still cahin letter yes i know) and i'm trying to stop myself from forwarding them now.
HUG WAR! Pass this hug to all of your friends and back to me, see how many you get back! 1-5 HUGS.....Your on someone's mind! 5-10 HUGS....Someone likes you! 10-15 HUGS...Someone wants to be with you! 15-20 HUGS..WOW! You are really popular!! =]

omg i hate chainletters.simply because:i don't like all those cursing=/
eg
your mother will die if you don't send it to.....
you will get ran over...

and the list goes on and on and on. just stop cursing my and my family and friends gah!!
