i have both 360 and ps3 i use my ps3 for all single player games mainly rpg's and i only use the xbox for online games. i just think the ps3 runs a lot smoother than the 360 when it comes to rpg's. the xbox is laggy like it was in ff13 jesus christ. so i i was fed up with it and bought a ps3. now im just waiting for the remake of ffVII or FFX-HD cant wait

Erugh. FF13. Glad i Played it at a friends house. Not only were the characters pretty much bland until you were 20 hours in (By that point I stopped caring) but the game was really really well.. badly put together. It felt more like a movie and me just dragging the character along which is odd. I usually like to interact with the environments, go explore towns, and backtrack so I can do the things I might've missed.
FF13 offered none of this. Now FF13-2... tried to fix some things but it didn't help.
Let me ask you this then.
Would you put your hand on a stove despite the fact it'll hurt for the first four hours? Full well knowing it will stop hurting after those hours. If so.. FF13 is probably for you. If not then you might need another game.
So No. I got my PS3 because I heard of a new persona game in the works.
(I got it for free though)

Definitely not the current FF13, but I would for Versus. I'd also buy every single Tales game I could for the ps3 too =D.

The only reason I bought my PS3 in 2006 was that Sony would release tons of JRPGs like they did for the PS2 .Man was I wrong , and FF13 was the only game I really look forward too.I had high expectations for ff13 and i think it ruined for me.

Didn't get a PS3 exclusively thinking about FF13, but it sure speeds the process, hahaha!!
I'm glad FF13 turned out to be a great game. It's still too far away from the quality of VII and IX for example, but it's still a great game compared to the other ones you see coming around this gen.
