downloading music is how people get introduced to new bands without having to buy everything. the fucking celebs already are all filthy rich and it's one friggin song. seriously. don't tell me you've never downloaded anything and not felt good about it

It lets people get more known. Plus, I can't always buy the CDs of bands I really like. They're all overseas, and I'm here. I will eventually buy the CD when I have the opportunity, but I can't, so I resort to downloading.

it doesn't really affect the artists much. they get most of their money from tours and shows anyways so they aren't going to go penniless or anything. i have never bought a CD in my life and all the music i've listened to is from downloading or on youtube. it's how i find out about new artists like 2PM and 2AM.

I personally think music is not something that we should have to pay for..

I love music, and I would hate it if I had to buy every single song that I choose to download...

Music is a really important part of my life so.. yeah...

I'd probably go bankrupt if I couldn't download music illegally.

I'm already poor enough, rofl.

But they still earn with them appearing in TV shows/programs. Plus don't you think that the fans are more in the complicated side if the artists they like produce albums continuously? Plus the concerts, the fangoods, and etc. It's hard to live a fangirl's or fanboy's life too you know. And oh, btw, sometimes some of the albums are not worth to buy since there are times that out of all the tracks, there's only one good song to hear.

I wouldn't want to work without a pay check - so I don't figure artists do either. They put their heart and soul into what they do. I dl the music then buy it if I am going to continue to play it and enjoy it (unless its out of stock or out of print - not to be found.) The upside for me is good quality recordings. I'd rather have actual cds than purchase digital recordings but I do have both. Besides if the bands succeed, that means they will continue making music - can't get any better than that.
