Welcome to the Summer 2008 Anime Preview, where once again, members of CR come together to help bring you this list so that you know what's coming out. This list was compiled in the Summer 2008 Anime Group Forums. What's new this time around?
We've added a new section to the list. We are now featuring Live-Drama adaptations on this list. Remember, this is a new section and if you have extensive drama knowledge then feel free to help out. In addition to that, the series' Japanese website is also included. Just click the title in the spoiler tag and you'll be redirected.
Note: This thread will be updated as more information is released. If you have any new info, PM me and I'll edit it in. Series without previews means that they have not been released or uploaded as of yet. Click the ANN links for better series descriptions if they are available.
A message from Suicider
As you may know or not, I have retired from Crunchyroll sometime back in May and you might be wondering why I'm back here. Although my decision to leave CR has not been changed, I decided that I could at least finish this list off as it has been exactly one year since I started doing this. These previews have changed over the past year, and we've seen many anime series here on Crunchyroll. Remember that all things must come to an end, but it doesn't always have to be an end, it can also be a beginning. A beginning of something new and so I shall leave Crunchyroll with my final gift. Sequel to the previously aired Code-E, set five years after the final episode in near-future Japan. It will feature a new a new lead named Maori Kimizuka, who will join Ebihara Chinami, the lead from the first season. Having lost her family to bandits during night raid, Kanu swears, she will not let others share the same pain. She quickly becomes a well-known and feared by villains bandit hunter. During her journey she comes across others, who wish to join her cause. One of them is a girl Rin Rin, who had similar experience with bandits in the past.

At the same time, there's a lot of talk about a religious cult and its mysterious leader, Friend. A strange chain of events follow, which exactly duplicate the events described in the ‘Book of Prophecy.’ Kenji and his former classmates are shocked to learn this horrible truth. If things are happening exactly as described in the ‘Book of Prophecy,’ then Friend's intention is to fulfill the doomsday prophecy. And Friend is most likely one of the kids they used to play with...
As the events in the ‘Book of Prophecy’ unfold in their lives, Kenji and his former classmates decide to take on the villain.
Time passes and now it's December 31st, 2000. This is the day described in the ‘Book of Prophecy’ as the day of mankind's demise.

Yumi is now a second year student at the Lillian School For Girls, an exclusive all girl's catholic school. The school has a tradition that older girls take a younger girl as their little sister or "soeur" in order to instruct and look out for them. Sachiko, a reserved third year student, is Yumi's "soeur". Yumi is now apart of the inner circle of the Roses, who are the members of the student council. With Sachiko at her side, Yumi tries to unravel and understand the relationships between the Roses and their soeurs and explore her feeling of mutual love with Sachiko.
