I was just wondering if anyone else here on CR is into this.

Me personally, I love it but its been in a decline for awhile now. TNA is good but its not enough, and the WWE has been slacking off with no real competition. Thoughts?

Wrestling isn't completely fake. They still get hurt. A lot of them know actual martial arts.

I hate TNA and WWE. It's the smaller companies and Japanese who show real wrestling.

Wow, wasn't sure if anyone liked it too so thanks for posting the thread.

Well I've been following wrestling since the 80's and can still recall the first tag team I watched was the Killer Bees (B.Brian Blair went on to politics evidently too). I watched WWF throughout until I could get WCW on TBS. I also had friends who started me on independent feds (the indys) like ECW back then, and later on onto international fare with Mexico (CMLL and AAA with guys like Ultimo Dragon, who I FINALLY met last year, Juventud Guerrera, Hector Garza to name some favs then) and Japan (New Japan, FMW and All Japan with Misawa, Jun Akiyama, Kenta Kobashi, Jushin "Thunder/Beast Master" Liger, Ultimo again, Keiji Mutoh, Masato Tanaka, Hayabusa, Great Sasuke, El Samurai, Masahino Chono of the Japanese NWO, and early Cactus Jack [awesome guy in person], Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Dynamite Kid and Tajiri).

These days I'll still follow some WWE (favs in the current Vince wacked up fed that I still watch for wrestling are Chris Benoit, Willaim Regal/Dave Taylor, Paul London/Brian Kendrick, World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin), Ric Flair (woo!), Carlito, CM Punk, Edge, Booker T (whom I've met), Finley, Mickie James, Victoria, MNM (Melina, Johnny Nitro, Joey Mercury), the Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt) and Kenny Doane (hate the Dykstra name as it links to the hated Phillies of old against my Blue Jays). I'll watch TNA more if it weren't for the other Vince's silly booking, but I still like A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, Christian, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Homicide, Senshi, Alex Shelley (who wrestles in my neck of the woods for UWA Hardcore Wrestling), Sonjay Dutt (another funny and awesome worker who's come up here), Jerry Lynn (yep, again up here), Petey Williams (see a trend? ), Shark Boy, Johnny Devine and Chris Sabin (all up here and I saw Sabin when he first started for Border City Wrestling along with Eric Young).

Today I'm more into Puroresu /Japanese Pro Wrestling and the Indy scene. Wrestling Society X is OK for something different too, and I can see M-Dogg 20, Human Tornado and Jack Evans at least. Dragon Gate (Dragon Kid!) and NOAH (KENTA, Marufuji and Takaiwa are favs of mine there) are usual fixes for me. Take care.

BTW on an aside, I'm also into MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) like some of the above have mentioned. UFC and Pride are my main fix though I'll occasionally watch other feds. Happy a Canuck is a champ in George "Rush" St. Pierre though in UFC!

I went to PWG(Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. No, I didn't see wrestling apes) yesterday. Hell of a lot better than a WWE show. I was in the second row, but ANYWHERE is a good seat over there because it was in an auditorium. I met Joey Ryan(he's on the WSX crap) and Frankie Kazarian(from that TNA crap). Nice guys in person.

And yeah, I like MMA, too.
