i'd want the mercedes slk-class, lexus, or cadi convertibles cause they're fuuuckin nice... I'd like convertibles cause they're more fun in good weather than hardtops. I'd prefer the hardtop convertibles it's harder for theft to occur and it just looks better in my opinion. But soft-tops do have their merits as they do save space and weight which helps with the handling.

true.. soft tops are fun down.. but not fun when someone cut my soft top, which will cost me $2000 to replace.

which is why on S2K's i love the option of the Mugen and spoon hardtops (Bulletproof's is pretty decent as well)

Yah Mugen and spoon hardtops are nice but I decided to go with the heavier and more safer OEM hardtop. I believe my hardtop is 40-44lbs. The new S2000 CR hardtops are different from my hardtop b/c its lighter aluminum (cheaper) and Oem hardtops are heavier (made of Aluminum and fiber glass) more expensive. You can try to order the CR hardtops separately if you wanna save some money that is.

Anyways, Im a drive this car until I reach my 60's and pass it on to my son lol.. I wouldn't get any other body kits or hardtops b/c it would look weird on a 50 yr old driving a s2000 with mugen or spoon hardtop and massive body kits with mugen hood. So basically, keep it nice, clean, sporty, classy and simple. Good thing I'm working 40 hrs a week and $20 an hr getting my car paid in no time..

Hi convertible car fans!!! I have a s2000 with black hardtop with jdm sidemarkers.. keeping it nice and clean, no ricer shit b/c ima drive this car until im like 70 yrs old.. lol

Aww, you got the black interior? I've got the two-tone Red/Black on my white '07.

Is that an '04 or '05? Best years of the S2K right there, you get the F22 and the tweaked suspension, but better seats (try driving an '06- with a helmet on... ugh) and no stupid electronic throttle.

I'm not a particular fan for convertibles as I know some have a problem with wind drag and therefore aerodynamics but tbh I wouldn't mind having an S2000 and even with that I'd still have a hardtop on it purely because of wind drag and that will cause the car to be slower and use more fuel at speeds of more than 40mph

Yeh I was able to save even more gas when im driving my car.. I fill up my gas every 2 weeks without softtop.. and every 3 weeks with hardtop on.. I shift normally from 4k rpm-5k rpm and sometimes I redline a few times at a yellow light or when Im in a rush but was still able to save gas.. =) When I first bought the car, I filled up gas every 1.5 weeks from 5k-6krpm.

HArdtops save a lot of money and is good for performance, looks and safety =)

I have an SRT-4 I made a hard top convertable, I paid to have the top operate like the ones on the AMG Benz's. I built the motor, got bored and did it because no one else had.
