YG Entertainment's Pop star Se7en, has announced that he will not be performing in Korea or Japan in 2008. He made this decision in order to focus all his efforts on his U.S. debut.

Se7en is currently residing in L.A. and is in the process of recording his U.S. album and working with stars such as Usher, T.L.C., and Toni Braxton.

Is Se7en making the right move or do you think he is on his way to failure?

According to YG Entertainment, Se7en will be discontinuing activities in Korea and Japan in 2008 due to his US debut.Se7en, who stays in Los Angeles to work on his US album, will still be working on the album until the first half of 2008 and will also make himself visible in the American market. YG explains that it is necessary for him to gain “weapons” that will give him a strong, first impression to local officials, resulting to a dormant schedule in Korea and Japan.US debut preparations are going well. Aside from Se7en getting the support of producers Mark Shimmel, Rich Harrison, Noize Trip and a producer that still remains to be anonymous, the Korean singer also had his name “Se7en” trademarked last September 20.

I think this is a great idea. There are so many of us internationally that love him, that I think it would be good for him here in the US.
