i really wanted to learn a foreign language and japanese was really interesting... i've always love watching anime and i found the language really nice to listen to... i also want to learn it since i hope to be able to have my medical residency there in the future... that's just about 4 to 5 years away so i need to start learning... :D

i also noticed that many of the group members are younger than i am... i'm turning twenty in a few weeks... somehow, i feel really old when i visit this group... hehe...

to knievel: i also like tohoshinki's songs (i think i've listened to all of them... haha... verging on being a fanboy... :P) especially the japanese ones (i also like utada hikaru's songs and those of gospellers)... listening to japanese songs somehow makes me more accustomed to hearing japanese and it also helps me remember words... watching anime really helps but listening to songs is a bit more practical (at least for me) since i can bring them with me...

Well I was introduced to it when I was 2. I loved the Japanese exchange students my sister brought home and always wanted to communicate in Japanese to them. I was taught Japanese in Kindergarten - Year 2 and then picked it back up in Year 9. I'm going on an exchange at the end of the year to Japan and I plan to live there when i'm older.

I find Japanese really fun and the people are generally really nice ^^ I'm hoping to be an English teacher in Japan...I don't know if it's possible but i'm going to try really hard~!

Plus i'm horribly obsessed with Kanjani8. I like NEWS and my first love was Ya-Ya-yah lol ><. It's so awesome, Japan's music is much different to the crap on TV atm. In my opinion, their music is quite a bit better.

Japanese is an awesome melodious language, and as mentioned above, so cool to hear (and to speak as well...). I love the way they express things (the grammar)!

And actually, if you already know English, you have a good vocabulary of Japanese words at the same time... and it's such a fun to recognize English words in today's spoken Japanese!

I've actually started watching dorama because of the language...

(Anyway, can you think about anything which is from Japan and isn't kakkoi? Everything touched by their culture is simply interesting and cool.)
