I recently got interested in riddles in real life, so I thought it would be fun to play online too. Here's how it works:

Rules:

1. The riddler will explain a situation to everyone else, and then ask a question about the situation. A good riddle will use deceptive wording when describing the situation to make it appear to be something it's not.
2. You may ask as many questions as you like of the riddle master to try to figure out the answer, but they must be "Yes or No" questions!
3. When the riddle is solved, the person who posted the answer gets to post a riddle of their own. If they don't want to, then they can give the right to someone else.
4. This is vitally important: If you have heard the riddle before, do not give it away, or ask questions. That will ruin the game for everyone else.

Please, only one riddle at once. It will get confusing to have more than one at the same time.

I'll go first!

"The man was afraid to go home, because the man in the mask was waiting for him."
Who is the man in the mask?

Let the riddling begin!

If you are going to answer, please quote me!

"The man was afraid to go home, because the man in the mask was waiting for him."
Who is the man in the mask?

It's a baseball game and the man in the mask is the catcher.

I like riddles to this topic is fun.

The whole point was that you were not supposed to give it away if you already knew it, hense the big, red, bolded, underlined text in my instructions telling you to not do that. Oh well. I'll let it slide this time. Your turn.

So, how long did the riddle take you? Did you think to yourself for a while? Because you can ask an unlimited number of questions, so you should have been asking.

Not at all. In fact, I was hoping that you would start the next one.

About 6-7 minutes and ya I thought about it myself. Like I said I love riddles so I usually don't like to ask question unless I'm really stumped. The one I'm about to post is one of my favs.

"Two bodies have I, though both joined in one. The more I stand still, the quicker I run."

Have fun!

I intended a different kind of riddling, but what you're doing is okay too.

Is it a human?

When the riddle says "run" does it mean to move from place to place?
