cumon why not? ...

with a writer thread we can share our thoughts on the stories from our perspective (the perspective that it really sux and needs improving) and readers can get a really good understanding if they see it through our eyes

honestlly i think Sabbatical is not going too well ... i only have 3 loyal fans that actually ask me if i did more
aside from those few there are the 5 that are on the group that read its begining only and stop.
And then theres the peolpe who lie and say they r gunna read it but 3 weeks later they say "Sabba-wah"?

To tell the truth my story is only getting started ... theres still the masive twist, why Celestia is so meen, Who is the real vilan, and who the hell gets with Vatic ... i got a long way to go but if i cant seem to get enough motivation from readers to keep going ... but i doubt ill be running out of ideas soon ...

YAY!!!! this thing is totally working!!!!

To tell you the truth I also don't know if there's many people reading my story. I guess it's because many members here just accept the invitation and don't stay active. Well I'm not a professional writer so I'm sure there's many flaw in my story.

Yeah, I have to agree with u guys, there doesn't seem to b a lot of ppl reading our stories. Mine its just on the biginig as well, so just by reading the first couple of chapters ppl can't tell if is good or not. On top of that I'm doing my best to translate the story from Japanese to English, so the translation can be a little rough at times. I've never done such thingg before, my originalis all nice and neatly written because it was revised by the publishers, but in English I really have to polish what I'm writing, so it doesn't turn into a whole different story and I'm not getting enough comments from the readers. So what can we do about that?

This should be therapeutic. I feel like there's a definite lack of feedback. Every half hour, I check my thread to see if anyone has commented on my story. If they did, I feel a burst of pride. They don't even need to help me write it better; simply knowing that people are paying attention makes it possible for me to write at my best. Without you guys, my writing feels uninspired.

I also always looks to see a comment, and even if it doesnt give advice, just a thing saying they read it is amazing. And dont feel bad, your views have shot up. 322. I have had mine up for a while, and only 200 ahead. I think readers stopped after the 1st espiode because i had just started after a long time of no writing. So it probably wasnt amazing, and i scared them away. lol.

we all need motivation from readers, and i only have a couple people who honestly ask me about my story also. So dont feel like u are alone. And your story is new, you have to give it time. my story has been out since practically the beginning of the group. And not many people have even heard of it. So thats what the feature of the month is for. And i need to change it, and we need to decide who gets the feature this month. I have already had my month.

I am sure all of us have flaws in our stories. And you are right about the members. Thats why i always used to send them welcome invites asking them to be active and to jut invite friends, but i have been so busy recently i havent been able too. And i dont think any1 has taken that position over for me. So if any1 would like to take this position, that would be amazing

That is really amazing that u are translating it for us. Maybe u should post up a raw japanese one too. Or maybe not, just a suggestion.

I guess so, but if they are true anime fans, they wouldn't run away after one episode.

You have made me feel guilty, lol. I have not read your story i must confess, and for that i apologize. But i am not able to now either. Exams are next week, and as most people know, this is the time to cram. And afer that i will be busy with summer stuff, But i promise. When i can, i will read and leave feedback. Dont give up because of some stupid group where most members dont participate anyways. Dont beat yourself up man. I am sure it is amazing, and it is a sweet hobby to do. Dont just do it for your readers, do it for yourself
