Preferably with ripping neo-classical guitars and double basses kicking, but any type of fast metal can do as well. Somewhere along the likes of Galneryus or Loudness would be terrific. Try and list accomplished bands, as it would be easier for me to access them. Thanks in advance. [RECOMMEDATION] To CR Member: timo_vanhalen List of bands/songs to recommend: Sonata Arctica - Finland Stratovarius - Finland Gamma Ray - Japan ANTHEM - Japan Firewind - Greece 3 Inches of Blood - Canada Angra - Brazil Iced Earth - America Blind Guardian - Germany Cellador - America Double Dealer - Japan X Japan - Japan The ones in bold are my addition. Ive added the country too. Those are some of the top power metal bands out at the moment. |

X-Japan was definitely one of my early favs but I couldn't really classify them as Power Metal. Also, to be clearer, I wanted Japanese bands. Thanks though, I'll definitely take a look at Double Dealer. Sonata Arctica is my favorite Power Metal band, next to Galneryus, of course. Thanks for your suggestion, guys. |

The link to my prof is <<<<<<< Im looking for Japanese Rock Bands, that are -Non Visual-Kei. -Also i dont want blink 182 type Pop-rock. -Preferably Male Vocalist. Can have some female backup vocals, like Base Ball Bear or Maximum the Hormone. -No emo bands, i dont want to hear them whine about the world/their life. Bands like: The Back Horn http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-238268/The-Back-Horn-Ikusen-Kounen-no-Kodoku-Live-.html Wait through the 2 min intro. The Rodeo Carburettor http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-336054/The-Rodeo-Carburettor-Speed-of-Flow.html 9mm Parabellum Bullet http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-81163/9mm-Parabellum-Bullet-The-World.html The Birthday http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-316380/The-Birthday-Ookami-no-Nodo-Live.html Dont post the extremely obvious like Asian Kung fu Generation, or The Pillows. Thank You Also i would recommend those bands. I made a thread like this a week ago, but i must have not hit create thread or sumthing, cuz i went to check it like the next day and it was nowhere to be found. |
