Favorite bands and/or songs that are similar to what I would like to be recommended: 30 Seconds to Mars, Jimmy Eat World, All American Rejects

Genres that I wish to be recommended: JRock J-Alternative Rock

Comments: I'd like to find more Japanese rock and alternative songs; so far I've heard "Lady Love" by Rize (it's the opening theme song to the anime "Shion no Oh). I also REALLY love the opening song to Air Gear "Chain" by Back-on and I also really like Ellegarden's "Missing". I would greatly appreciate it if someone can recommend any Japanese (or any Asian) songs, music similar to the examples I've given. Thanks in advance

LOL....that's awesome. As I'm reading your post I'm listening to Inner Universe from the S.A.C. 1st Gig soundtrack. It's such an unbelievably good song. Anyways, back to the topic.

Favorite bands and/or songs that are similar to what I would like to be recommended: Something fast paced with good bass. Music that sounds like something from Initial D or Wangan Midnight.
Genres that I wish to be recommended: Trance, Eurobeat, Techno Remix stuff, etc.
Comments: I am extremely open minded when it comes to music, so don't be afraid to post some off the wall stuff. Language doesn't matter either, as long as the beat is good.

If you like progressive metal like Dream Theater (I have every one of their albums by the way), you might want to try Opeth. They're fairly heavy most of the time, though they have awesome melodic parts as well (they're actually classified as progressive death metal I believe). Their new album "Watershed" is absolutely EPIC in my opinion. I love every song on this album. Couple other bands that I really enjoy next to Opeth and Dream Theater would be Symphony X, Porcupine Tree, The Sword..........I can go on and on, but I'll stop here. Hope this helps
