Not sure how you would classify those artists above, singer-songwriter, folk, pop/rock, maybe? Basically looking for songs/artists that have soothing/beautiful/melodic vocals, poignant lyrics, moving ballads, clean musical composition is a plus (if that makes any sense). Male/female/androgynous vocals are all fine. Any language is fine (as long as it doesn't sound horrid); extra points though for songs in languages I actually have some grasp of--Mandarin, English, Japanese.
