M-flo is great because they are a really good mix between jpop and techno.
Although most of Clazziquai's work is korean, they have some Japanese songs that are awesome. They are mostly Techno~

Breaking Tides.
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
Silverstein.

Breaking Benjamin because their music is a more alternative rock version of the earlier Linkin Park songs.
Breaking Tides because their music is more experimental rock, and Alternative Rock.
RJA cause they have a bit of Screamo, rock, and Alternative
and Silverstein because they have punk rock written all over. Just careful with that, they are slightly depressing.

These guys make darker and heavier music. Maximum the Hormone is Japanese screamo lol
You might want to try some of the GazettE's heavy stuff if you like music with screaming and growling. Try their songs "MOB 136 BARS", "Maggots", and "DISCHARGE".



I can recommend some Jrock(more on the visual kei style, is that alright?) and maybe one of the heavier ones for you to try, I'll add in some Jpop for you too (I live off Jrock lol)

the GazettE :: I really recommend them. Their style stretches really wide so I'm sure you'll find something by them that you'll like. They have the softer and quieter music (i.e. Cassis, Reila), rock mixed with other styles (i.e. Agony, Silly God Disco) to the heavier stuff with more screaming and growling (i.e. Maggots, MOB 136 BARS)

Miyavi :: I really recommend him as well. This man is a great composer. He might not have the best vocals, but his voice is really unique. It's very different from most Jrockers. He likes to experiment with different styles as well. You'll love him backstage as well XD Yes, he will make you laugh very hard (watch PSC backstage if you want to know)

Versailles :: Don't get thrown off by the costumes and the girly look. They have mad skills. The guitarists are very talented and they became popular really fast. Give them a try =)

alice nine. :: They're more oshare-kei now so their music is lighter now as well. Try their older stuff if you want the heavier stuff (it's not that heavy but it's heavier than their recent music). If you want happier sounding music, try their more recent stuff like RAINBOW and TSUBASA.

LM.C :: If you watch Reborn! you should know who they are. They've been around for 2 years and they're really good. They're more oshare-kei. They're music is happy and pretty catchy =) They have become my favourite oshare-kei band XD

girugamesh :: They're a lot heavier and darker than the bands I listed above. Just to introduce you to a bit of the more darker stuff. They have screaming and growling, I don't know how they do it, it still sounds good. If you want to try the more hardcore stuff, I recommend them.

Utada Hikaru :: 'Nuff said =D

KAT-TUN :: GASP! IT'S A JOHNNY'S GROUP! But you might find something you like by them. Not all their stuff might be your style but you JUST might find something. I recommend "Keep the Faith" and "Don't U Ever Stop". Yeah.

DBSK :: Another GASP! Oh yes, you might hear about them all the time from their fangirls. They might seem over-rated. But even I like them. They have the talent and the looks Yes, I have to admit, they're really good singers.





Drunken Tiger, 'nuff said. Amazing rapper right there.
He's a bit old but still good nonetheless =)
