aw an eiji-san drawing w/o guide lines is no no for animators..
sorry for it..but i will recommend that use guide line for good results
( no animator draws a good anime w/o a basic guide line..as they said : "all arts starts w/ basic shapes"

@momo-chan ya you hear me, I dont use guidelines.. that makes my sketchings aweful.. I made alots of artworks like painting, murals, sketches(even sketching real people w/ the help of my charcoal) w/o any guidelines and a little help of creativity...

but they say its really hard to sketch without guidelines...

well this image is really bad..but still i will teach coloring step by step
( hair tone)
1st step -.( orange ) color the strands w/ orange...mostly sides..light shading..is required..dont over do..or else other color
will mis matches..and causing it to darken.. ( tips! - follow the flow of the hair..to attain 2d effect..)
2nd step - ( orange + lemon yellow ) - after using orange as a starter..add some lemon yellow..like what you did in the first step..but darken it a bit..put some shadings..aswell..
3rd step and final - ( orange + lemon yellow + orange yellow + zinc yellow) " very complicated..adding up the 2 last color is the hardest..but thier have some wayz to make it easy.. use orange yellow to color each side of the hair for shadow effect..darken it..
cause zinc yellow will do the final touch..fill the hair with sinc yello..as in over all..but remember follow the flow of the hair..
( woot..so hard to type.^_^)

( Face tone) ( tip - light source is important..it decide where you should put the darken spots..)

1st step - (light geranium red ) - use this color like a shading pencil..all side and curves should be fill..be careful
shade it lightly as posible..like i said..other color will mis match and darken..
2nd tsep - ( light geranium red + orange ) - just shade some..specially in the parts where light source is facing..
3rd and final step ( light geranium + orange + peach + red ( optional ) ) - last to add is peach..cause red is optional
but i did add some red..for blush effect....fill all the shaded part of the face with peach..darken it lightly to show the effect of the color you resently used..be careful not to over do it..
^^ well im no good in explaining..hayz..

I paint.. oil paintings; I design clothes and I color them {they turned out to be nice}... but when it comes to anime.. like... this..

I'm rather good in shading... I really like to color this one but I'm afraid it will be ruined if I color it.
