It has to be good for the story, if it is just randomly thrown in there or there is no purpose for them to be having sex, then it is just hentai.

first time i saw a sex scene in tenjho tenge it ruined the morality of anime and made me not want to see it. for me that was the first time i also started to look toward more mature oriented animes like berserk, then i realized it was getting quite normal till i accepted it as part of the story. Now im not as shocked as i would have been if i see a sex scene these days, in fact lots of anime have it, makes me want to see more.

Sex scenes? I guess anime could/should have sex scenes like those on Channel ABC or CW or NBC.
If you mean sex scenes, it should have some like those on HBO, otherwise it is just abnormal.

I don't remember ever seeing any anime/hentai or whatever you want to call it that had a full sex scene and a good story. You get one or the other. So if I want to see a story then no.. no full sex scenes. An occasional breast or hint of nudity is okay but if you want to see full sex you're not watching it for the story and you're probably only watching 10-15 minutes of it anyway. ;P.
