And why not? There are animes that are targeted to young audiences only. And probably the themes of mature rated anime is far too great for youngsters to understand so they'll just loose interest on it.

It's just like movies and shows at at TV.. They have ratings. Let their parents decide if it's not right for them to watch it. Or let the kids explore and grow up on there own.

If it's part of the story, then why not?

It can be considered hentai but still depends on the storyline..

You see, "Hentai" has this certain formula on their storyline that makes them "Hentai"

i think it makes the anime more believable because its showing things that actually occure in the real world. I would be good if they showed some drug use like they do alcoholic situations.
