Sex Scenes in Anime? Agree or Not?

Um, I thought someone on this board, of all places, would have gotten rid of the assumption that animation = for little kids. There are so many anime out there that contain extreme violence, and are obviously intended for a mature audience. If Elfen Lied can have Lucy disassembling hundreds of human beings into limbs, organs and assorted cuts of meat, then anime should be able to contain sex scenes. I mean, which is more traumatic, two beautiful anime people having sex or a pen flying through someone's head?
